If Arch is the starter, I expect a little more of a struggle.  By struggle I mean we don't win by 40+.  Like 25+.

Miss St lost to Toledo by 24 at home with their first string QB. We will beat them by a hell of a lot more than 25 regardless of who starts.

those guys didn't play 17 games tho. plenty of time for Quinn to show out if heisman is in the cards.

Especially since the rest of the schedule will have more hi9gh profiles games including Georgia, and 2 major rivalry games.

I say rest him if you can.  No need to risk a setback that could have him out even longer.

If he plays ou on like he did before he got hurt, and Texas remains #1, he will win the trophy.

I think if he beats ok and ga back to back with decent stats, he wins it as long as he doesn't shit the bed stat wise later in the year. even if we drop one later

The 3 or 4 potential playoff games won't help a Heisman campaign.

But that is going to work against all the contenders.  Hopefully the voters take into account it's not about survivability, but prowess and skill as a player, for whoever the candidates are.

You might be high.

I like you though.

The AI lies though, so I don't claim the above to be factual.  Hope it's not!

the way it synthesized the information and answered back in natural language is impressive tho

Here's tonight's updated injury report. Wisner upgraded from questionable to probable. Barryn Sorrell was not on the report yesterday, but is listed as probable today. Derek Williams Jr downgraded from doubtful to Out

So now two of our backup to the backups who were backing up our starting running backs are injured? What the hell? Is Choice allowed to recruit in season?

Toledo isn't even good either in the context of G5 type teams.

Getting spanked by Florida and Toledo is a bad look. This is one of the worst (if not the worst) power conference teams in the country.

I asked myself that question - who is the worst P4 team in the country this season?

It’s either UH or Miss State. I guess you could throw Purdue in there potentially.

The results weren’t very compelling. There are only a few truly terrible P4 teams this year and Miss State may be the worst of all of them.

They’ve consistently been either favored or the second choice to win the MAC.

They lost to Western Kentucky and were in a 1 score game with UMASS in the 4th quarter.

FEI has them ranked #80 behind a ton of G5 teams. Toledo is not good.

So? The MAC is fucking awful.

G5 programs that would probably beat Toledo include Boise State, James Madison, Memphis, Fresno State, Texas State, Tulane, San Jose State, Liberty, Navy, Army, UNLV, Western Kentucky (already did), etc.

Yeah, I'm just saying being a top-tier team in the MAC doesn't mean you're a good G5 team. There are 15+ G5 teams that would be favored to beat Toledo.

I think Purdue is in its own shit tier, and then a group of teams that might be able to hang with a mediocre P4 for a bit depending on scheduling spots, injuries, matchups, etc like Houston, MSU, NW, Vandy, NC State, Wake, Wisconsin..

Taking that as true, that leaves about 45 G5 teams that Toledo would be favorites against.

If you want to parse elite, good, bad, whatever for G5 teams, go for it. I think they’re a good G5 team. You don’t. That’s fine.

FPI has Toledo at #76 in the FBS, with only the following P4 teams below them, in order: NC State, Northwestern, Wake Forest, Houston, Purdue

To be fair, Mississippi State and UCLA are barely ahead of them

Man, Hudson Card really does suck as much as we thought. He has 453 passing yards on 66 attempts with 6 TD's and 3  INT's. How the hell was he the 2nd ranked duel threat QB out of HS? #59 prospect and had a grade of 0.9721.

Let me introduce you to the Lake Travis system qb.

I've used the first two options while traveling outside the US (you'll likely need to close a bunch of popups before the game starts playing):

https://the.streameast.app/cfb-live-streams

https://nflbox.me/college-football-streams

Never used the one below ...

The other day I learned he was a cast member on SNL when he was on Joe Rogan's podcast. I was like what? I don't remember him on there. Apparently he was on there from 95-98.

Wtf man, how did our deep snapper get dinged up?

He's the backup DS.  So cross your fingers that the #1 (Lance St. Louis) doesn't get hurt before or during the game.

Can’t we just enlist South Austin’s mom? I hear she’s got a deep snapper.  😮

Although it does make it even more baffling, but whatev.

My guess is that Haver got hurt in practice this week.  He wasn't listed on the initial injury report, which suggests he got hurt just recently.
