I fucking love Cam...fuck the haters

He’d average like 25 a game on a bad team. I think that’s his lot in life. He’ll force his way out and score like crazy on a lottery team. I just hope we have a Tre Johnson type to replace him on the roster.

Looking good going into the home stretch. This team was 41-41 last year, so they look to improve on that by about 12-14 wins overall. Really fun to watch them when they get to clobber a lesser opponent. Really hope they can turn Green into Booker somehow this offseason, it would be just what this team needs to get a ring.

The home stretch is rough, schedule-wise. 2 against the Lakers, OKC, GS, Clippers and Denver. Only Utah can be considered an easily winnable game. It’s going to be a big test to maintain the 2 seed.

i'm out on that.  Green is 5 years younger and has shown enough that he should only be included in a deal for a top 5-7 player in the league.  Booker aint that.

Go cheap and get Durant for two years and make a run at a title, re-asses after that

Green’s trajectory isn’t horribly off of Booker’s. Booker was the quintessential good stats bad team guy until he wasn’t.

I think Giannis asks out after the season and Milwaukee isn’t going anywhere anyways.  If that happens, godfather offer the Bucks.  That’s my pipe dream anyway.

I don’t know what we have to offer that’s superior to whatever OKC can put together.

Could OKC do it without Chet?  I feel like I’d take FVV (after picking up option) and any two young guys other than Amen plus picks and it would be pretty good.  Where is OKC matching salary?  Harrenstein, Joe and Cason Wallace?  I feel like the player package we’d be willing to do is going to be better even if picks aren’t even close.  But again…. Pipe dream.

I would have to think either offer starts with Chet and Sengun.

I don’t know why Milwaukee would want FVV, or why we’d want to hunt for a new pg if we’re going all in with the trade (I get it’s more of an obvious case based on making the salaries work).

Rockets Clinch playoffs if:

Option 1
      Rockets beat the Lakers, and
      Grizzlies lose to the Celtics
Option 2
      Rockets beat the Lakers, and
      Timberwolves lose to Nuggets,
and Clippers lose to the Magic

Sure, but they’d have to get another team involved to send back salary to the Suns. As long as we have a first round pick/swap every year, I’m cool with it.

Green + picks for Booker would be a mistake. Booker would take at least a season to learn how to play defense again. And as others have pointed out, he’ll turn 29 in October.

I think the national guys need to slow down the Lakers postseason hype train. LeBron basically has to do everything at the rim on defense + initiate the offense when Luka wants to take a 20 minute break. This is not a sustainable model for a 40 year old in. 7 game series.

Segun is playing like Shit. Sure he’s getting bumped, but he must finish at the rim. He’s playing against a team that is undersized with below league average post defenders. It’s just going to get harder from here.

WTF in the plan on defense? LeBron posts FVV with Luka on the bench, and no Rockets run over to help.

Fuck these refs, but didn’t play their game. Brooks hero ball never ends well. Thompson was out of control etc.

Slim to no chance they let the Rockets win with LA trying to avoid the play in.

And fuck back to backs. Dumbest shit in the sport

I’d say we just got flat beat tonight, but the game plan was horrible. FVV is a tough SOB, but LeBron and Luka can shoot over him with ease. JJ schemed that switch way too many times and they did it more when they figured out Houston wouldn’t send help.

Offensive plan wasn’t much better. At a minimum they could have tired out LeBron taking everything to the rim. When he was out of the game, Jalen and Amen should have attacked the basket on every possession. Reaves and Luka are turnstiles and they lack a true rim protector. To their credit, they have some bigs that move OK, get in the way, and foul like crazy on shot attempts. I’d say they’re well coached on defense and play hard, but man they have to give maximum effort every night to overcome 2 starters being extremely limited on defense.

I’d call the Lakers a bad match up. Playoff Luka + Brooks getting in his own head every time he sees purple and gold will not end well for us.

Houston leads the league in back to backs. Also lead the league in ejections. The NBA office doesn’t like us very much.
