Their D has completely negated our offensive system. Amen has been neutered on the offensive end. Green can’t get to the rim, and Alpi is having to work too hard for everything.

Has anyone from the NBA explained why OKC/MEM completed four games before we even tipped off our third?  Not alleging a big conspiracy or anything, but strange to have one series routinely have one day off between games and another have two.

GS (and especially Butler) lucked out big time with the spread out schedule.

Because they really want to have 4 games on Saturday and Sunday for each of the first 2 weekends of the playoffs. So they stretch a few series to make the schedule work. No telling how they pick which series get extended vs others, but that is the goal.

Yep, the issue is always going to be that they want 8 games on the weekends, but they lose at least 1 (and sometimes 2) TV windows during the week. But the inconsistency in days off and who gets to finish first and who keeps playing is kind of fuckity fuck, but you'd imagine one of the "perks" of being the 1 seed is finishing first.

I mean I don’t think it’s a conspiracy or anything because who the fuck is helping out OKC? Maybe if it was the lakers. It’s possible it’s about seeding? And maybe it is set up to where some series start off with multiple days off between games but the last 3-4 games are only 1 day off between each game and other series have quicker playing dates to start then more to end? No idea. Just spitballing on how they try to balance it all out.

They alternate the 4 series with the days off. The Clippers-Nuggets series now gets the 2 days off between games bullshit, while the Rockets-Golden State and the Minnesota-Lakers series is now one day off for the reminder of the series. The OKC-Memphis series would have switched to 2 days off, but OKC beat the shit out of them in 4.

Being way younger and more athletic I don’t see how we can’t push the tempo and wear them out. They’re old. Take advantage.

Can't shoot. Have to be able to shoot to win by pushing tempo.
