This. We really haven't put shit on tape yet, on either side of the ball. We really haven't had to.

All of that; in fact I was wondering during the game if Hill was previously dinged up and was out there to get reps and loosen up some soreness.

Based on what Sarkisian said/implied, they didn’t give a fuck. Mississippi State wasn’t going to drive the field four yards at a time. He didn’t want the D to get RPO’ed on quick passes. He wanted passing to be dropbacks.

You want some better alignment and execution but if that’s that way they want to play the offense, good for them. It got them 6 points and a TD late off a hold.

Fair. And they’ll still be fucked. Hard.

I check in on Ikard/Lehman and their OU game breakdowns on YouTube occasionally. Love that they are drinking the kool-aid after stealing that win vs. Auburn. Lehman spent a lot of time talking about how good OU's defense played after *checks notes*...giving up 482 yards of offense and 4 receptions over 30+ yards. They fully bought into the Sooners being elite on D after the Tennessee game, even though anyone with objective eyes saw that Heupel decided to be very conservative after halftime.

Their 4-1 record allows them more time to be in denial, and hopefully that bleeds into the OU staff and football team over the next 12 days. All is fine, Sooners. Y'all got it all figured out.

Yeah I'm waiting to see if any of the Joel Klatt, Josh Pate, et al. realm breakdown the game and see if they utter the elite defense line.  The only thing elite that defense did at Jordan Hare was the pick six to save their ass.

I’ve watched no blowU football a few lowlights of dogshit with Arnold at QB and nothing last week.  They had about 6 WRs Injured is that still the case?  Is this defense better than Michigan’s?  I feel like michigans def was pretty legit we just out schemed them brilliantly. OU never has a defense but we still step on our dicks facing them sometimes sans 49-0

Okay, is this a trick statement? Because mine do smell good.

I tell the better half that mine smell like roses. 32 yeas later, she still demands going to the guest bathroom (office). Most of my best Surly readings come from the office, as sometimes I sit and think, and sometimes I just sit.

Probably not but they are solid on D. Physically and from an athlete standpoint they hung pretty tough with Tennessee - but Arnold was total dogshit and never really gave them a chance. Also didn't think Tenn played a very clean game on O - and OU was at home at night.

The matchup OU needs to worry about is their OC and QB against this Texas defense.

Truth.

The weekend fans and talking heads constantly talk about arch and Q and that takes away from the real team. It’s the D that is dominating. Without looking it’s a top 10-15 in total D at least in the P4.

And then there is that WR and QB room that causes other problems.

Just to throw some quick numbers out there ESPN FPI on their "efficiencies" page has us as the 8th ranked offense and 2nd ranked defense.

Oh and here's OU - they didn't fit on page 1. I had to scroll down a bit:

The "OU Sucks" (Pour Some Sugar on Me version) mp3 was my wakeup ringtone for several years.  My dogs would hear it , jump on the bed, and start pawing at the covers to wake me up so they could go outside.  They don't do that for any of the other ringtones in my alarm rotation - just that one.  Every once in a while I'll be watching TV in my recliner while the dogs are asleep on the floor or couch, and will decide to play that song.  The 2 dogs that were around when that was my alarm jump up and start dancing around to go outside.  Anyone with dogs knows "the pee dance".

The only way they have had any success this year is by their defense causing turnovers. This got them a W against tulane, auburn. Kept them close against Tennessee. Hell, the 2 turnovers they did get in that game Jackson Arnold turned it right hack over on the very next play. So now they have their back up who kind of gets the ball and runs around with his head cut off. That has been more effective than Arnold, trying to command an offense that is injured and ass. That's them generally. Protect the ball and we win easily. The more turnovers, the less our chances get.

He singled out Sorrell and the lack of pass rush before last year’s game. Texas didn’t do themselves any favors in the Cotton Bowl last year, but this was a pretty big factor.

That said, giving OU fan hope by saying Hill sucks is quite the take. If Nansen fixes Hill and Simmons’ run fits, OU is screwed.

I'm feeling another 52-0, without the missed field goal.

This is gonna be ugly and beautiful.

OU doesn't have Beville aka Beavis the back up anymore. I think they'll get at least 1 TD

34-13 more like it.  I’d bet 24-10 / 31-13 or something like that. I do think OUs D is alright. Their offense is a joke.

I guess I've never watched it through enough to realize all those dipshits ran away from the chick that got tossed and barrel rolled across the turf to all go stand and stare at their stupid-ass wagon.  What a bunch of cock munching dbags.

Dude go to youtube! There is a full two minute long version of it happening, then slo-mo, and them having to repair the field (they were most concerned about this). Even worse is how she had to get helped off the field by another female and maybe someone from the sidelines. She was totally forgotten about.

Watching the above clip…forgot that Corso could still bring the heat as late as 2008. Sucks they keep rolling him out there now.

Did you not see them get burned with the deep ball against Auburn? We'll get 4 long shot TDs against them.

OU sucks, and this season they really suck at football too. However, their players will be fired up against Texas. I do not want that #1 Coaches ranking to go to our players' heads.

14-14.5 seems about right to me, the guy who knows he’s too much of a dumbass to make money betting. I think Texas covers and I’m not sure OU is even capable of a back door cover against Texas’ depth.

yeah but they usually play up not down for Texas OU, so I expect a clear win but not the blowout it honestly should be based on a paper review.
