Lord knows I'm no Russ fan--and he's be absolutely awful so far--but there's not many singular players who would be able to make Denver's current bench viable.

Jokic is going to set some on/off court records this season.

How is Milwaukee down 17 to BKN here.

Giannis is such a fraud.

When do the "will he request a trade?" talking head discussion begin in earnest?

He doesn't need a trade.

He just needs for there to not be a threat in the Western Conference and for the best team in the league to go down two of its three star players.

That happens all the time.

FVV not only won the game for the Rockets tonight he also defended Htown’s honor from the vile Jeremy Sochan and the detestable Spurs. Same aura as Will Smith smacking Chris Rock’s face for disrespecting Jada.

This lame shit belongs in the Rockets thread.

lol

He looked like an old slow has been back in late July after he played in like 5 games @15-20 MPG. How’s he going to last the dog days of January February March? He gonna have to take 2 weeks off per every game played?

I hope we get lots of behind the scenes with Hardin going to strip clubs

I'd like to get into his criteria for what makes a great scrip club.  Is it the music?  Comfortable chairs? Or is it being able to fuck the strippers?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Celtics lose, shot 57 3's to Indianas 38, also outshot the pacers from the FT line 31-24 lol

Celtics got up 100 shots in regulation. I’m sure it happens more than I think, but I’m not sure the last time I saw that.

It happens literally all the time. Sixteen teams averaged 89+ FGA/g last season.

Wemby sucked a big ol nut last night

In all fairness, OKC completely swarmed him and wouldn't let him get the call.  They can put numerous combos of five guys out there who are all long and are good to elite defenders.

OKC looks really good right now and they're not even shooting that great.

No - not in all fairness. He needs to be better.

You gonna swarm KD and hold him to 6 points? No - you're not.

And - that said - I think you are the best team in the NBA right now.

Looks like Cleveland and OKC will be the only undefeated teams after tonight. Cleveland with the best defensive rating in the East, and OKC with the best in the West.

Do I get to start my "defense actually matters" generic reminder posts in October this season instead of May?? Oh man, I'm going to be annoying as fuck.

About this:

I noticed that with the Thunder.  They smothered him with various wings to the point he was having trouble just getting the ball.  Whenever he did get the ball, he was 25 feet away from the basket.
