Worst loss of the season.

I wish we could move on from KJ but the FO won't do it and no one would want him anyway. Feel like we should have shipped him a year or two ago. Then again we were giving Malaki Branham minutes up until 4 games ago.

Still a lot to like with these guys but tonight was not it. It's going to start and end with Wemby and he was bad again. But I mean fuck me all we had to do was hit 30% from 3 tonight.

Glad to get Sochan back.

Yep. Terrible loss. They blew a real opportunity tonight.

Pretty sad when the best way to defend your generational talent, who may be 7’5”, is to put a guard on him. Reminded of the fact that Chris Paul chokes in important games. Missing persons on Harrison Barnes. Nice to see Sochan back. Vassell was incendiary. I fucking loath Devin Booker.

Keldon this season is posting 44/30/75 shooting splits.

It is completely unserious for a franchise in 2024 that is trying to win basketball games to give a guy like that 26 minutes and 10 FGA per game. We aren't the fucking Wizards.

You would feel a lot better about him if Branham were still getting minutes.

You're right. I'm checking names off the list.

Can't believe Buford hasn't offered me the GM job yet.

This is hilariously relevant. I'm a fan of EPM (estimated plus minus) from Dunks and Threes but someone on our reddit put everyone together. Right column is league percentile.

I guess I'm skipping over Wesley but he doesn't play nearly as much and always looks like he's trying and wanting to make the right play.

Mitch playing some bizarre lineups to start. And by bizarre I mean shitty.

Okay nevermind I've seen enough of Collins already.

Haven't been impressed with Mitch Johnson tonight. No real sense of urgency or effort to fix anything happening on the court. Total lack of communication on D. Lack of focus and intent on both ends.

This team wasn't winning an NBA title but they don't need to be this bad. Frankly, they've shown us at times this season that they shouldn't be this bad. This is 3 out of 4 games now where we have looked awful. That Lakers team is not good. Phoenix without Durant is not good. Chicago is not good. We couldn't turn any of those into a ball game let alone threaten to win.

I'm a little bit concerned that Pop's absence is starting to take its toll. We look disinterested, unfocused, selfish, distracted - I mean throw any word in the book out there that you'd associate with a poorly coached basketball team with bad chemistry and we fit the bill.

It's early in the season and our rotations have been all over the place so I'll cut the guys a little slack but they need to figure this shit out. Especially if Mitch wants a career as a HC.

Had to attend my daughter's dance team showcase tonight so I haven't gotten to watch any of the game. Looks like I should be thankful to have missed this one. What a shitty couple of games this week.

They have been playing pretty good defense even without Wemby most of the season, but the last two games have been brutal. Their three point shooting going south isn’t helping either. Much easier to d up off of made baskets instead of long rebounds.

I'm at the game, have they said anything about Wemby? Looked like he got kneed in the nuts and hasn't been back in the game since. Also, Collins took a really hard fall on his back, so he's probably out the rest of the game. Would suck if Wemby is out for the rest of the game too after just coming back.

Fuck, and now Castle just ran into someone and injured his shoulder or arm. Just went to the locker room. We're dropping like flies.

Wemby just came out from the locker room and is back on the bench. He might come back in. Looks like he has a back brace on.

Jesus, and now Keldon just went back to the locker room. Looked like a knee injury or something.

And now Castle is back on the bench. This is crazy.

Well two of those are potentially impactful.

More Sochan dunks please. We look like a basketball team again. Just needed to play the most hapless franchise in the league.

Our rotations on D are a fucking disaster.

If Pop has to hang them up then I want a real coaching search if not a GM search too. Johnson isn't impressing me. And we still have a bunch of bad roster issues despite being 3 or 4 years into a full rebuild.

I'll take a W over the South Bay Lakers or whoever the fuck this team is that we're playing but Christ man if Wemby wasn't here this shit would be depressing.

And as I type that we're doing our best to lose this exhibition game.

I can't believe I'm over here getting emotional about Chris Paul and this speech he gave after the last game. I hated the signing when they first announced it before the season started, but I love this dude now.

And this interview TP did with him is pretty cool too. I didn't realize they were that close.

I knew they were close, but you forget how close over time. During that New Orleans series, During that New Orleans series, the play-by-play guys would always talk about them getting dinner together after games.

What would have really taken that video to 11 is if he finished it off by punching Zach Collins in the balls.

What the fuck are the Hawks doing? These motherfuckers keep losing to the Wiz, Bulls and Pistons while beating the Celtics, Bucks, Cavs and Knicks. It's still way early, but with all the other dogshit in the east that pick isn't looking as tasty as it once did.

One of the best to ever lace them up - regardless of position.

Hope we can send him out with one more playoff run before he retires.

They've been spicy - winning 7 of their last 8. I think they could easily sneak into the 7 or 8 seed. I've heard Daniels is really good, Jalen Johnson is obviously an elite talent and it appears that Trae is playing a bit more team-forward with a career high in AST and lowest FGA since his rookie season.

Wesley with +19 in 25 minutes, 8 assists and 1 turnover with CP, Jones and Castle out.

Champagnie has become a real rotation piece. He shouldn’t be starting for a contender, but he plays good defense and his shooting is absolutely critical on this team.

Portland is terrible but that’s a good win down 17 on the road shorthanded. This team is getting to the point where it’s typically beating the teams it’s supposed to beat. They didn’t hit 13 wins last year until march 3. Things are obviously headed in the right direction.

I went last night for the first time this year. It was ugly other than their third quarter run. Credit Minnesota’s defense I guess, but there were a ton of careless turnovers and lots of unforced errors.

That’s the worst I’ve ever seen Castle play. Really rough night for the rookie. I like him better with the starters than coming off the bench.

Weird statline of the night: Naz Reid 1-10, 3 points but +26. Also, it would absolutely drive me crazy if Gobert played for the Spurs. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be to watch him botch easy play after easy play, and then all of a sudden he starts making them.
