Tucker has the personality of a potato, so he's not going to be really loved by any fanbase.
Yeah hes a great player but him leaving doesn't bother me like it did losing Springer/Correa.

Now if Altuve would have left I would probably cried myself to sleep for a week

Bregman leaving sucks too, but Tuckers bothers me the least.

I know for a fact that the front office - all the way to the owner - has the opinion that he cares about himself more than the team.  Apparently he had his agent involved with all of his treatment sessions, and the Astros felt like he could have gotten out there earlier this year.  But he cared more about protecting himself and his eventual payday.  That's why they had no problem moving him for the right package - they 100% knew that they didn't want to give him the extension he's going to ask for, not only due to contract terms.  I'm not saying it was unreasonable for Tucker to play it that way, but that was the team's feeling.

I was right behind home plate at an A's game and yelled "I love you, Jose Altuve."  I know he heard, it was like a sensory deprivation chamber there.

I did this in Arizona while wearing a shirt that has like 30 of his face/head on it and he looked at me and I think wanted to call security.

Well, that happens if you're wearing an Altuve shirt and no pants.

Jose Altuve is the one athlete who still stirs my emotions the same way my sports heroes did when I was a kid.  The combination of his personality, size, production, clutch performances, and that he’s an Astro for life are unmatched.  Hell, the way he handled the sign stealing stuff was so high character, taking responsibility, shielding his teammates, and continuing to perform, just made me root for him even harder.  He’s the one guy I would really be affected by if he went and played for another team or got caught up in some scummy/criminal activity.  I literally love Jose Altuve.

Seems like something the team would say after trading him

You could tell by the way he stopped diving for fly balls even before his injury.

We sat right behind the home dugout some years ago, and my wife loudly remarked that Altuve looked like a cute baby as he was warming up. He definitely heard because he gave us a WTF?! look. Greatness. I’m still laughing about it.

As he damn well should. Crane isn't going to post Tucker to be hurt.... Unless Tucker can throw a curve.

I agree. I presume you saw the last part of my post that you left out…
