If he’s only living there from April to October, Michigan is pretty great.  And Detroit is a lot better town than its current reputation. It’s lagging the improvements the city’s made the last few years.

All of this.

Comerica is outstanding. The downtown area has completely pulled a 180 the last few years. Solid food scene in multiple spots around the city.

buy some massive estate lot in Bloomfield Hills and set Reagan and the kiddos up on a massive secluded place to spend the summer where they can actually enjoy being outside…Detroit weather beats the hell out of Houston for 4.5 of the 6 months of the season.

I did the Detroit road trip on the last weekend in August a couple of years ago. Detroit trip isn’t on a weekend this year but is in mid-August. Highly recommend

I may have missed something but why is that a horrible take?  Boras does have that history.

There is no way Bregman is gonna miss a portion of the season. This isn't Jordan Montgomery.

I would argue that we've had a guy there who sucks for some time.

Way better than the Kevin Dyson plays football joke I was gonna go with

I went to that Tristar show as I normally do.  I got Hunter Brown, Arrighetti, Brice Matthews to sign a book I have that brings me up to 79 current/former Astros players autos in it.  Wagner was there signing for the first time to be able to put HOF25 on his stuff so he had a nice turnout.  Biggio/Bagwell always draw a nice crowd.  Hunter Brown had a decent line as well at one point.

Also saw Sandberg, Goose Gossage, Yainer.

And I know most of you love this guy....Keith Hernandez.

That was in 2005, I was on the committee, we only did it that one year.

Yep. I only lived in Houston for two rodeo seasons and remember going…2005 was one of them.

I just remember seeing the cutouts for the bases and everything else being concrete.

Dome Hideout was awesome. Went several times that year, felt like it was in there two or three years but I’ll take the committeeman’s word for it. Going down the tunnel and then onto the floor, throwing down $6 crown and cokes, and looking up at the Astrodome ceiling as you two stepped with some young drunk lass in a denim skirt was peak bachelorhood for me.
