My Dearest Breggy,

I hope this letter finds you well,

Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love, and it's an ache I still remember

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end, always the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well, you said that we would still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad it was over
But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing

Just what we have been waiting on.....

Astros have agreed to a Minor League deal with veteran IF Luis Guillorme, according to a source. The 30-year-old has seven years in big leagues, mostly with Mets. Lefty bat provides some infield depth.

Makes sense.  My inside info is that Altuve went to Dana Brown and said he would move to LF "for Bregman.  Or if you sign Luis Guillorme."

In which case it's smarter to take the Astros offer. He didn't want us anymore. Fuck him.
He is gonna make way more in 6 years than 156M going this route even if he doesn't opt out

Maybe, but I disagree and think he's gonna fall off a cliff. He hasn't sniffed his All-Star days. He's a good player but he's also 30. He had a guaranteed 156 in hand and took way less to bet on himself as an aging player instead of staying in Houston where he's loved.

Fuck him. His jersey is never going up in our ballpark, whatever name it is when he retires.

And it sure as shit not going in the Hall of Fame.

I can assure you of that.

Are there any outfielders left?
Lol this front office ain't trying to go over the threshold....they were only gonna "do it" for Bregman to appease the goofs.

We may do it at the deadline if we are lucky

And no they all suck

I honestly believe Springer, Correa and Bregman all wanted out of Houston to get something on their resume other than Houston and the scandal. Correa and Bregman took short deals to leave. Maybe not but staying didn’t sound like a priority. Alex sold his house before the season was over and Correa was basically saying byes the last two weeks of his last season. Just my read on it anyway.
