Zero walks so far in ST, so perhaps improved plate discipline hasn’t come together.

Maybe he switched to a 52" bat, so it won't matter because he can reach the slider away

I thought I saw 1 walk and 1 k the other day for his total spring stats. Which is pretty remarkable when just about every plate appearance ends in contact.

If an astros doc was going to amputate my left leg I would write all over my right leg- wrong leg dummy don’t cut this one off.

Better do your dick too. Just to be safe.

I never liked him. Didn't dislike him or anything but the demeanor was irritating especially coupled with being pretty bad more often than not in the playoffs.  Nothing against him but losing correa felt like a kick in the balls and losing Springer was a real gut punch.  Losing Bregman was sad- even though it was definitely the right call.  Trading Tucker with a year left made me happy.  Our pod was celebratory when that deal happened and I was all in on Paredes and Wesneski.  Smith looking like a budding super star takes me from excited and celebrating to orgasmic.

Didn't help that Tucker has the personality of a 2x4

demeanor, personality, tomatoe, tomahtoe, we are talking about the same thing and made it hard to really root for him, unlike the core 4 who all had cool stories/personalities.  Tucker was like a robot.

30/30 guys don't grow on trees.  He could be a human zucchini for all I care, he was a solid player. That being said the trade was the correct call. The cubs can sign him for 400 mil for all I care now

Agree with all.

Tucker was a walking Beta blocker.

Springer was the worst for me.

The Astros optioned RHP Nick Hernandez, IF Shay Whitcomb and C César Salazar to minor league camp, per the Astros

I sort of think Whitcomb can hit. I could see him ending up being the guy at 2B/LF if Cam and/or 2B and/or Dezenzo don’t work out.

I think this is the definition of “premature ejaculation”.

That’s what I liked most about him.
