We should sign Soto.  He's like 26 years old.  12/600. 50 a year wouldn't break the budget with Yordan being cheap for the next 4 years.  Tucker is gone in a year. Bregman is gone this year.  We don't have to pay Yainer for 5 years and then he will be gone like everyone else.  The point is we can afford him and he'd make us a lot better- and who gives a fuck if we suck 9 years from now.  WE should also sign Walker (4/80) and kikuchi- (3/48)

Lineup (166)

Aluve- 27M

Yordan- 17M

Tucker- 20M

Soto- 50M

Walker- 20M

Yainer- 1M

Chas/LHH OF- 10M

Pena- 5M

Dezenzo- 1M

Bench- 15M

Starters (70M)

Framber, Brown, Kikuchi, Arrighetti, Blanco, LMJ, Garcia, Javier

Bullpen- Trade Presley (30M)

Hader, Abreu, Scott, Whitley, who gives a fuck it's filler from the minors and left over starters

That's a 266M payroll and the best team in baseball.  Yeah- we are eating some money.  That money is all basically gone after this year. we will have about 100M coming off the board in 2025 and 2026 that isn't even being used other than Tucker and Framber.  Kikuchi replaces Framber and Soto replaces Tucker.  But, if you want to do the Soto, Walker and Kikuchi signings and Trade Tucker and Framber and get some real pieces back for them to build for your future, along with getting the payroll down I'm down with that as well.

Note- I don't expect any of this to happen- and certainly not all of it together- but I could see any of those 3 signings happen in an individual sense. I mean- Soto would be shocking but it would be cool.

If the Pirates had made this move earlier, Cole would have never had to leave.

Also, Skenes is going to be really good now.

Probably, but those mounts and dismounts by Olivia Dunne may get him first. She is a gymnast you know.

You managed to find the ugliest pitcher of her on the internet, congrats?

Yeah, that's a terrible picture of her, sorry that everyone can't meet your standards.

She’s absolutely gorgeous. That doesn’t show that imo. To each their own.

How about you post the best picture of her on the internet for comparison?

I am not good at that. I literally googled her name and hit images and they all look better than that.
she’s absolutely stunning in casual pictures, performing, hair up. I have no idea what that one is about. Also, profile and backside is better.

It's from the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue that is very popular to most people that don't live in a cave. They are selling posters of that picture, I guess because it's such a bad picture. You need to get out more. You sound your a 100 years old.

Nothings happening of any importance before the winter meetings.
best case scenario is re-sign Kikichi and Christian Walker and a good LHH platoon partner for Chas in the OF.
more realistic is 1 quasi important bat and 1 middling arm and the team is again a little worse than it was the year before.

He really only effects the handful of teams that were trying to sign him though.  He's going to get so much more money than any other right fielder.

Thats my point- yes. This might be the rare instance where the market happens around/without that guy. That happened in the Harper, Machado class. It’s unusual but not unprecedented.
