How good Arch has been in every adjusted metric across the board is why I'm so confident going into this game.

Arch is GOOD but he's not better than Ewers in this offense today.

The Sark offense is going to throttle those Okie fucks on Saturday.

I like adjusted stats, but sometimes they seem to miss the mark. Arch was great vs MSU, but he didnt do much more than Toledo or Florida did.

MSU's pass defense the last 3 weeks. QBs have completed 86.2% of their attempts at 10.2 per attempt. This is next level bad.

My first ever ou game.  Was a freshman.  Came from a high school with a shiiiittty football program and relied on the Oilers for any amount of football hope/joy.

9-16-1 here.  Time to get a streak going the other direction.  We're due.

Forecast looks brutal for Saturday.  Glad I made the decision to go west side with shittier seats than east side where I usually sit once I saw the 2:30 kick.

Looks like if they weren't turning teams over Venables would be on the verge of being fired.

Recommended game plan:  very conservative, play for field position, take points at any opportunity. 24 points probably wins the game.

As usual, protect the ball. Here, an incompletion or throwaway is better than a risky throw in almost every situation. Go after them. Make them have to pass. Put the pressure on them to come up with points. Don’t try so hard to be safe you leave them with striking distance with a punt return and a busted coverage. Something like Michigan, but with more points.

Agreed. Frankly, every second these crimson cocksuckers aren’t down by at least two TDs, they probably feel good about the game. You don’t have to be reckless to do it, but pull their fucking hearts out early and then just keep kicking the corpse until the clock runs out.

Something akin to this would suffice.  This is the level of cruelty OU deserves.  We owe them a couple of black Saturdays still.

Interesting that OU is only +2 in TOs since their opener against Temple.

Since Temple they have recovered 4 fumbles and made 3 picks and have lost 2 fumbles and thrown 3 picks.  So +2 fumbles over 4 games.

Meanwhile, Temple has had 9 more TOs since OU.

Quinn has always taken care of the ball. I believe he leads Texas all-time in int-att ratio. He has attempted 769 passes and thrown 14 over his career. That is one pick per 55 attempts.

And recovering fumbles is a less repeatable statistic, generally.

Oklahoma has been quite lucky recovering 80% of fumbles this year.

We'll have to play poorly to lose. Of course, that's always possible against a decent D that gets turnovers, but I don't foresee it. I do expect some weird play or sequence to happen during the game, because in this one it so often does. Call it 27-13 Texas in a workmanlike effort that hopefully leaves us healthy for UGA and beyond.

SEC refs to keep games close by Pozderac-ing Texas?

That wouldn't surprise me from these toothless twats.  They're probably still bent that we nuked their SEC-bagmen scheme from orbit.  Lulz.

Tony Adams began his career at UT as the starting QB on the 1968 freshman team, but transferred to Utah St. due to our depth chart.  He started for them in a loss to us in 1972.

here's your content in plaintext - for those that read at a supersurl level - bolding adds little, sir

So what I'm seeing in those stats is that they've got a salty defense - unless you decide to throw the football.

I'm not going back and re-watching a ton of Sooner tape, but against the competition they've faced (not saying ours is a ton better), that defense is usually the result of just sending a gazillion guys through the gaps and trying to get the QB on the ground as quickly as possible. Think "7 Breckyn Hagers in the box" style. It'll cause panic and turnovers against lesser mortals.

Playing a Sark designed offense, it means the phrase "coverage bust" will be worn out by halftime.
