Like Maggie G?

She bothers me less than Bateman, whose public “Bruce Wayne” performance is pretty hammy, along with any time Batman attempts to quip.

Like when he is back from Princeton and go to the narrows to meet Carmine Falcone, gives a homeless person his coat and says to the homeless dude “people are going to come looking for me.”

The homeless man says “who?”, and he replies back “everyone.”  It makes him seem extremely narcissistic, which is at odds with a plot trying to paint him as a selfless hero.

Then you have the callback later with “nice coat” that takes a scene doing a lot of heavy lifting to suspend audience disbelief that this character would be frightening to criminals and adds that ridiculous dad joke.

Of all the things wrong with the Nolan Batmans I think you picked the worst example I could imagine

zoolander is straight up not funny, and wedding crashers is so dull i tried three different times to watch it and couldn’t finish. ben stiller hasn’t been funny since heavyweights/happy gilmore, and owen wilson is just not funny at all. also vince vaughn is wildly overrated. his funniest movie was return to paradise which isn’t even a comedy.

I do want to add one thing.  Every time I watch it, I love Jason Lee more.  He's such a charismatic and fun performer ("actually, THAT you can print").   He had a fine career and is beloved by men of a certain age, but I wish he had more shots like this.

i read someone the other day saying they hated ryan reynolds because he just stole jason lee's bit, cleaned it up and corporatized it for mass consumption.  i was like "damn.  that's 100% right."

Daniel Day-Lewis over acts in everything he does. I rarely like anything he is in.

Man, I LOVED Deadpool and Wolverine. One of their best. But I agree, almost everything else since End Game was awful.

My Left Foot is utter total shitstain garbage.  Because DDL just made it all about his left fucking foot.

Method acting in general is so obnoxious. The entire line of work is one big "look at me Louie" situation, but that isn't enough for some. They have to be "in character" for weeks or months at a time to prepare. You wouldn't understand, they're just so much more dedicated to the craft than those other actors.
