It's a stone house and I think I'm good at the foundation around the perimeter, so I guess windows, doors and attic are letting scorpions in. I hate scorpions. Any experience, opinions re: type and technique?

First, have pest control come out and spray your house. Then put a solid line of moth crystals around your foundation.

Reapply every 2-3 months, and don’t forget.

Worked like a charm when I had to deal with it.

If the gap is any bigger than 1/8", you'll want to have the backer rod in there before you put in sealant.

And agree with all the other suggestions of getting pest control to get in there before you seal up any cracks and joints.

Just for the record, I wasn’t kidding about the moth crystals. Shit worked.

I'm sure it works, and as a bonus I imagine it keeps away snakes, but the stank. I couldn't take the stank.

You smell it a little when you are first pouring it out. But it isn’t the overwhelming scent lingering around like mothballs.
