Pissed that the 30 points on the dawgs side doesn’t reflect that the Texas defense played pretty well when handed a complete crap sandwich from the offense.

And the punter. If we had a decent punter they probably don’t score one or two of those.

...How was Quinn a 1.0000 rated 5 star QB outta HS?

I really thought that as a third year starter things would just slow down for him and he'd take that leap like Vince and Colt in their third years, just hitting guys left and right. He's just so damn tentative. We got 911 turbos, 458 Italias, Huracans and 720S McClarens in that WR group and are stuck in 3rd gear, can't stretch the field vertically. I thought if Quinn can't hit the deep ball at least he can hit the short and intermediate routes, can't even do that with consistency.

I guess my hopeful side feels like there's an intense side of Sarkisian we don't see. It's not like the team doesn't play physically.

We just stopped Etienne on a gut check.

I don't know. It's easy to second guess things when we lose. I still see reasons to think we're on the right track.

Remember, this guy has a lot of Pete Carroll West Coast vibe to go with the Nick Saban tutelage. He's going to have to win doing it his way.

Sarkisian is good and has us moving in the right direction. He's not infallible. And also, if Quinn were a better leader and had more moxy, maybe his team and his OL would be more motivated to play better. There's no getting around the force multiplier a good, or a bad QB can be for his team.

As super conferences continue to consolidate and talk of a super league dropping half of FBS accelerates, this is the future. There is no excuse for how we came out offensively today, but the Chiefs lost 24-9 to Denver last year.

That's not to make an excuse for today because we're not there yet. But some of y'all are going to go crazy with the way seasons go 10 years from now.

Bingo.

The season is far from over.

Sark could have given the second half to Manning, but if they came up short, he'd have a QB controversy. Instead, he gave Quinn the second half as if to say "if you can't do it, you're losing the starting job, beginning next week."

I think you’re right. He did well of not having a controversy before the game but now he does have one
