So Aggy doesn’t allow you to keep caps to any beverage.

I didn’t determine if they’ve always done this, afraid of their fans throwing shit (certainly not upstanding aggy fans) or if it started after the Texas/UGA game… but I was bewildered grabbing a water from one of their “grab and go” markets and seeing two dudes at the exit holding trash bags telling me to drop the cap…

I overheard some aggy behind me talking about bringing his own caps, I shit you not.

They did this at a concert at Moody the other night.  I found it quite odd and don't understand the purpose.

The only big one I recall was his set of choices when Meyer said no. Sonny Dykes being the big one.

I wasn’t a big fan of seeing the basketball program getting boxed into the Terry hiring but I’m not sure how it could have really been handled differently. I also don’t think I voiced much on that one.

I wish he’d fire Kelly, but I get why he hasn’t.

Those are nits being picked.

I’ve dealt with the guy on multiple occasions since the Meyer effort. I’d take him over every other choice across the landscape at this point. Hope he’s running things for 20+ more years, personally.

Sometimes @Rimbo and anyone else here can put words in my mouth. I don’t think I’ve given CDC much criticism in years.

Who is Kelly?  I need something to be upset about...

Empty plastic bottles don't go far or have much impact. A full bottle with no cap is difficult to throw without spilling all over yourself.

Yeah it's a safety measure. Most large venues do it. Surprised DKR does not.

My apologies. I do remember you being pretty upset about that and vaguely about other things. Small things.

It was all about the rhyme. If I knew you drove a Corvette, I could've gone for three.

Because some drunk spilling his drink on another drunk in front of him and starting a brawl is way better

Our soccer coach.

To the point, the last of the Plonsky hires. A great recruiter and a terrible gameday coach who doesn't seem capable of learning. Objectively, she should have been fired long ago. They won the SEC tournament this year, but not the conference and don't win nearly as often as they should in the NCAA tournament, this year included.

Glad my kids are grown... can't imagine trying to get 4-6 open waters back to my seats without having to make multiple trips.

You have 10 fingers don't you?  Stick each finger in the water bottle.  Then when your family won't drink them you are set.

That's not true at all.  You just grab the bottle by the neck and sling it overhand, letting the centrifugal force keep the liquid in the bottle as it spins.

Uhhh, or so I would infer based on my vast knowledge of physics.  Yeah.  That's it.

Should definitely experiment with this at the next tailgate.

Yeah it's a pain in the ass for sure. Especially at concerts if there's no cup holders in the chairs.

I also hate how most places only sell enormous 22 oz beers for $18 or whatever now. I'll take a 12 oz for $10, thanks. Those 22 oz beers either get warm or get spilled if there's no cup holders on the seats.

Maybe you should ask your husband to help you finish that 22 oz beer in a timely manner.

The thinking is you can’t get distance without a cap/it’ll get the people in front of you wet, and that will regulate itself. I know we like to laugh at aggy, but their policy changed after the Georgia-Texas game

Predators appreciate being able to hand their victims opened containers.

This is the part I dont get. There is a very slim chance the people throw the bottles on the field. There is a nonzero chance that you either have someone slip something in your drink or you spill it everywhere. It is a dumb policy.

I hate to tell you this but if you grab the bottle by the neck the sling it overhand the centrifugal force will shoot the water right out of the neck because the bottle will be rotating with the base on the inside and the neck on the out side

This thread is quickly approaching the classic HF thread about whether or not an airplane could take off from a treadmill.
