Why take Buehler out?  76 pitches

Robert’s rarely lets a playoff pitcher go past 5.  I don’t always agree with it, but that’s his thing.  Dicey spot here.

Lol at jazz fouling that 93 mph meatball down the middle off his foot. What a joke this team is.

I saw social media buzzing about Teoscar’s amazing play. Look at the highlight and it’s just him throwing out Stanton doing a half-ass jog home by a mile.

All these completely non-competitive ABs the Yankees are throwing out there is making this WS pretty boring past game 1.

Yankees took 24 four-seam fastballs for a strike tonight. 2nd most in a game for any team all season (Nationals, 27)

And can we end this foolishness with Betts at SS?  He’s such a great RF he should never play anywhere else.  Maybe move him around the OF as necessary, but enough of the multitool shit.

Give Walker his due.  He was getting left to right movement on that fastball.  A moving high 90s fastball has to be the hardest thing to hit in the world.

Dodgers D has been super solid too.  You don’t often think about the impact of fundamental defense, but it can make or break a series.  And we’re beating them on the D end too.  Really in all 3 phases, but damn, I am still so uncomfortable.  This bullpen bullshit since we don’t have a 4th starter makes me nervous.

I really hated that 2 relievers were sent to the plate after Greinke’s PH single in game 5 of the 2021 World Series, the last game to have a pitcher take an AB in a World Series game. Greinke should have been the last

Holy shit.

Japan, with about a third of the population of the US, has more people watching the World Series than the US does.

15.2M to 14.5M

Yeah that’s been the case all playoffs.  Darvish v Shohei was off the charts.

Only Helobious, which doesn't really count as someone.  Especially not someone rational.
