Whatever.  The dodgers will be popping corks in the next couple of days.

Maybe the yanks are drinking champagne tonight...after all, Judge got a base hit.

Look Aaron Judge came up in a big spot when his team really needed him. He was facing the best reliever named Honeywell in major league history and he came through with a thunderous RBI that made a 6 run lead into an insurmountable deficit. This is what Cashman had in mind when he gave him that big contract and he came through like aggy in all their big football games since 1939.

Yeah sure. The look on this dude's face as he is prying the ball out of the glove is amusing. Guy and his friend probably paid 2 grand to watch 5 outs, great job idiot.

That was nuts.  Never seen anything like it.  What did they think they were going to accomplish?

I fell asleep and just woke up to see this. I assumed Betts had gone for a ball and a fan had tried punching him or poking his eyes out. Holy shit you guys are massive pussies. They barely tugged on his glove.

Your favorite team was playing in the championship game and you fell asleep?  As for the two fans, they grabbed both of his wrists, they held the wrist there over the wall pulling on them.  Mookie is pretty short and it was a high wall, there was a serious threat of a significant wrist injury in that moment.  Fuck anyone downplaying or flat out defending these guys.  The fan said in an interview that he is allowed to go back to Game 5 tonight, if that is true then every Yankee player, coach, employee and fan deserves to be raped by a rusty sword.

FWIW, I'm not a Dodgers fan.

And I should have said in my prior post that you are excluded from the "douchebag" comment because you're reasonable.  Mea culpa.

Just saying not sure either of these fanbases is winning awards for decorum. Not apologizing for the Yankee dbags that fucked with Betts. You had that Dodger idiot in G1 with interference.

MLB stepped in and banned them from G5.

That's the kind of stupid interference you expect though.  Someone gets caught up in the moment and doesn't think about a players also going for the ball.  What those 2 dumbfucks did last night might be unprecedented.

How many people have Dodger fans straight up murdered or almost murdered after games in recent years? It’s been a handful

If those guys had done that at Dodger Stadium, that number might have increased by 2.

can't believe the guys name is Capobianco...can't get anymore New Yaaak Goombah than that.

I can believe it. If you have ever sat out anywhere in the sections near right field that name has many others like it nearby. I used to sit in 203 regularly and the things I heard in that section were just incredible to hear people say about the guy in right field. The Jay Bruce 2017 game 4 against Cleveland game was, well, I have still never heard both adults and kids say and do the things they did that night. It was solely because he had been with the Mets before the trade deadline.

Weak sauce as per usual by Manfraud, should have been banned a lot longer

If the last several years is any indication, that punishment very well could be the equivalent of a lifetime ban from WS games at Yankee Stadium.

If he had gone back quietly the would never have known. Instead he opened his giant flap. Fucking dumbass.

Understood.  No fanbase is perfectly well-behaved.

The game 1 incident was different from last night's arm wrestling match, though.   The guy in game 1 didn't grab a player's arm, hold on to it, pry open the player's glove, etc.  He just reached into the field of play to catch a ball.  That's fan interference as well, but that kind of interference happens from time to time [*coughjeffreymeiercough*] and doesn't involve physical contact with the player.  The incident last night?  I had never seen anything like that in an MLB game.
