He walked Betts to put the winning run in scoring position.

That's just, wow.

Trojan at the helm of the Yanks.  Bruin at the helm of the Dodgers.  Bruin wins.

I’m not watching anymore of this series, I have better things to do with my time. I already got more than I thought I would out of this season anyway. We were never winning this with Boone at the helm and a failure like Judge in the lineup, at the end of the day he’s really accomplished fucking nothing in his life. I do feel for Giancarlo though, he deserved better

Couldn’t even win an MVP in ‘17.

$1,000,000 you're back here posting tomorrow during the game. This reverse psychology shit is annoying, even for your standards.

Boone made the right call walking Betts. I derped the runners moving to second and third on the Verdugo play.

Incredible ending.

I don’t know why you keep saying this, I post my beliefs and have for years. “Reverse psychology” isn’t a real thing. And since when do you post on the baseball board?

I hate both teams and was actually pulling for the Yankees just because my dad grew up in the Bronx. But I’m kind of pulling for the dodgers after remembering what a dipshit helobious is

And man, burning all those bullpen arms for nothing would’ve been tragic.  All worth it.

Cole/Holmes/Kahnle/Weaver 9 IP and 1 ER

and they lose 6-3

lulz

good luck, Boone, getting your clubhouse re-focused in less than 24 hours

I truly can’t believe he brought in Cortes to face the best hitters in baseball. He hasn’t pitched in a month and he throws all of 93 MPH. The correct move there was Hill. Boone handed that fucking game and therefore the series to the dodgers.

You’re almost a caricature.  Dodgers went down 0-2 in NY in ‘81 and went on to win 4 straight.  The series is over after one game?  This almost seems like a bit.

It's almost better than a game thread on the football board.

Almost.

Dude quit trying to down play it. You have the better team by far. Like i said earlier as a fan who fucking hates both of your stupid ass teams the Dodgers should lose 1 game at most.

People acted like I was joking or sandbagging about the David vs Goliath analogy. On paper the teams aren’t even close, biggest thing being the depth of the lineups and bullpens. The Yankees had a small edge on starters but that’s it and isn’t as relevant in this day and age. Series was over before the first pitch.
