Easy schedule is easy…

Don’t tell aggys that. One I know thinks they’ve played legit d and o lines and is telling me one day we’ll learn about good line play. Fucking morons

LSU is the best team they’ve played. They’re obviously very beatable, but if LSU could simply kick FGs at an FBS-average level, they have a coin flip shot at winning that game. Advantage: Aggy.

I mean, given our current offenseive prowess, there's an argument to be had.

See?

This is a weird world.  Offense is going to win the SEC and CFB.

Lagway’s backup did not play well, but I’m sure he’ll look better against Texas with a full week of first string reps. Good news for Ewers is their DB room is banged up so he should have some opportunities down field if he doesnt panic in the pocket and take self sacks

He's a PWO who transferred in from Yale.

The only other QB we've got left is Clay Millen who is on his third stop after Colorado St and Nevada.

Florida's defense was a complete dumpster fire early in the season so they started playing a two-deep zone to at least bleed to death slowly on defense. Ewers is going to have to be good in the mid range stuff on Saturday which is an area where he's struggled a lot since coming back from injury. Florida is going to give you the middle of the field. Sark needs to scheme for it and Ewers needs to take advantage of it.

Draft Kings shows it is now at 21.  My (unscientific) approach to validating point-spreads (I am sure I stole this from someone): Take the difference in the "Predictor" from Sagarin and account for Home-Field.  Doing this in normal times would yield Texas -11.7, so -11.5.  Looks like Vegas is giving 10 points to (1) injuries (2) week of rest for Texas.

I will be stunned if he is not done for the year.  If it was a significant hamstring strain, why risk it for the dumpster fire that is this year?  Give him plenty of time to be healthy for Spring ball.  Oh, and recruit another QB or 12.

Totally get that if I were a UF fan. But Billy is probably more concerned about still being the coach for spring ball than DJ being healthy for it..

Maybe he can help scout out a new coach, but that's about the extent of it I think

I understand the player was scheduled for an MRI yesterday. I'm guessing, by the statement, that it didn't show a complete tear or anything that definitive. As such, he's not immediately ruled out on Monday.

It's like having a "high ankle sprain", being in a boot, and not bearing weight. Since you didn't break your tibia, you could technically be able to participate at the end of the week.

I'm guessing he'll be listed as "questionable" in the first injury report, and "doubtful" in the second. Not really "gamesmanship" since the coach would be criticized if he ruled the Lagway out, then he made a recovery and could play - which is still a possibility. I have no actual knowledge of his status.
