A&M's SEC schedule was just pitiful.

I think LSU will lose 1 or 2 more games. I think the top 6 SEC teams (in no particular order) could end up being Georgia, Tennessee, A&M, Texas, Alabama, and Ole Miss.

They may only have to play 1 of these teams and it's a home game. This schedule could not have been more perfect for them.

Elko Mastermind on Loss

Purposely lost to teach team lesson on being disciplined and prepared. And he knew having 2 losses will make team step up if they want chance at playoffs. Makes the Texas game a must win.

For the love of satan....and the hundredth time....the fucking records and talent means jack shit in this game.

In 2005 when we were fuck stomping everyone to death on the way to a MNC, we scraped by with an 11 point win at pyle field. And it was closer than the final score shows.

Aggy had 5 wins that year and no bowl. This game is their MNC. Every. Fucking. Year.

Throw the records out even though there have only been 2 upsets in the past 12 contests...?

Wow, all the way back to 2000 huh? Check 1999.

Also, 1990, the Shock the Nation tour...we beat aggy by 1 point because those dumbfucks went for 2 after their last TD and got stuffed at the line. Then they screamed for years that CBS cameras/BOMC broadcast the brilliant secret 2 point play plan from the aggy sideline, which is the only way they could have lost.

There is this team called Arkansas that gets pretty worked up to play Texas also, especially in Fayettenam. After the beatdown they took today and an off week they will be chomping at the bit to get to Texas.

I think it's pretty obvious that Aggy is a different animal on the road than at home. Can't see Aggy losing to New Mexico State at home or a terrible Auburn team on the road, the Tigers lost to OU at home. It would be glorious if they did.

Texas needs to take care of business till then and make a statement in College Station.  It looks like Lagway probably won't be available Saturday; Florida had multiple players go down to injury today. The Kentucky quarterback Vandagriff was injured in their loss to the Vols and never returned.

Arkansas quarterback Green has been dinged up for much of the season and was again today by Ole Miss, he was pulled after the game got out of hand. Aggy loses their best running back and it appears to be a pretty bad knee injury, and their quarterback situation is still up in the air.

Nothing is certain, but things are lining up pretty well for the Horns.

No, this game is not the OU game. Your great example of how you can never tell is a game we won by double digits at their place. The better team wins this game at a ridiculously high rate.

Aggy hung 29 on us with Stephen McGee (83 yards) at the helm. We pulled the game out late. No one else put more than 22 (#4 tOSU) on us until USC.

What was your prediction for the GA and Vandy games?

Now all we have to do is stop JQJ when they hand the ball to him 62 times in the game and we're good.

You’re still talking about one year. The stats show this is not historically a Texas/OU situation. The favored team wins. You’re wrong.

Us underperforming in those games against other teams doesn’t support your take that “the records and talent don’t ever matter in this game.” They almost always do. Your point was wrong, own it. If you want to move the goalposts to “Texas could win close or lose outright” that is different.

ATM at home.    After more than a decade layoff and losing the “last” series game.    They’ll be fired up.

USC spelled it out.   Get on them early.    Weather the storm.   Them grind them late.   Texas will have to be able to run the ball.  Stop the run.   And pick up the blitz and get rid of the ball quickly.  We saw what speed in space did to their defense.

I wonder what the t-shirt count is for Aggies that only to get to wear it once or twice and then donate it to some charity.

aggy is a charity

Jesus, only aggy would make a shirt for someone else beating their rival.

That is the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen in sports fandom.

This is trouble for us since it takes Quinn 3 possessions to start zeroing in on his lateral screen and swing passes.

Loved the outcome of this game, but I don’t think Texas can duplicate much of what SoCar did on offense. Their best play was just letting Sellers run around the pocket. How many times did he shake an untouched blitzer from A&m? QB run killed them.  They ran well with Sanders, but Texas doesn’t have a RB like that (now that Sanders is healthy).

There were at least 3 plays, maybe 4, with Sellers that turned into gains either running or rolling the pocket for a pass post evading what appeared to be a certain sack. Honestly, there isn't a QB in our locker room that would have avoided those sacks, imo. Worse, I think some would have resulted in turn overs. But I'm a pussy like that and regarded so...

I disagree. If Gibson is given some carries that’ll help up the middle and the other backs are great in space and I think Scar showed A&M isn’t that good on the perimeter. Blue and Wisner could have good nights outside the tackles in the screen and swing pass game. A mediocre QE is a bigger threat in the passing game than Sellers. True Sellers moved better and A&Ms DL will get theirs but I think the Texas D and the offense will do enough to win.
