My next older sister did grad school at the real USC.  This was way back when they won an NC, 70’s.  Their cheer then:  No one can beat our cocks.

poor, sure.  But their real hate is for Clemson. And they have a whole rack of Clemson jokes, most we’ve heard as Aggie jokes.  What’s the difference between the Clemson beauty queen and a bowling ball?

Ahhh, the football board.

A&M's offense will be smothered by our defense. There will be sacks and likely turnovers as well as good field position despite their excellent punter.

Our OL will win some of the battles with their DL. Even on the plays where we don't, their DL is undisciplined at gap control.

Quinn will be a few more weeks from his injury and the jury will be in on whether he is ruined or back to standard. If he isn't, it's Arch. Last game of the season, he should be ready to takeover.

I don't think the totality of the Aggie defense (they're better than I thought they'd be) can deal with our powerful TE and all the receivers we flood the field with.

It's not a sure win by any means. But we'll be rightfully favored.

I agree. This all started, because I said Texas can’t do the same things that SCar did. Not that Texas can’t move the ball on SCar, but they need to do it differently.

Your point of A&M’s DL being undisciplined is true. Scar feasted on that with a big mobile QB and a high end RB. Texas has neither of those.  Sark may have to use some draw plays (not sure I have seen 1 this year) and screens to punish A&Ms tendency to race upfield.

Texas’s pass game is much more developed than SCar’s. They will need to exploit that advantage.

We didn’t watch the same game. A&M willingly gave the edge all night. Texas will destroy them on the perimeter if they try that shit.

I have bad news, Ousux, Georgia and Vandy willingly gave the edge to Texas in those 3 games as well.

Is it because it’s hard to do so when they have Trojans on them?

Huh? I think you misspelled intermediate passes over the middle. Georgia's game plan was to stay disciplined/ignore misdirection, pressure Ewers, and tackle. The exact opposite of willingly giving Texas the edge. They executed it really well, which meant there were opportunities deep if Ewers could find them. Vandy tried to do the same with worse athletes and tackling.

You guys praising the aggy defense are insane.  They are undisciplined, weak as shit on the edges and their secondary is slow to react and just plain slow (Sellars wasn't really the guy to take advantage of that last fact). They are fairly strong right up the middle, which from a running perspective we just don't do a whole lot of and from a passing perspective simply means our interior line needs to do it's job on pass pro (would help if RBs could improve a bit at that as well in the coming weeks).

Watching the highlights, this becomes apparent.  Arm tackles, out of position, susceptible to ANY and ALL misdirection.  They look like a Duke team.  Actually running into eachother to take themselves out of the play.

Also SCAR punched them in da face.

This Aug 23rd info from Bobby Burton says Gibson can pass block...

BURTON:

One thing Fozzy said last night that caught my ear. Fozzy said he was talking to Tashard Choice last week. And Choice told him that Jerrick Gibson is the best pass protector of the bunch.

From Fozzy's mouth to God's ear.

Hope that proves to be the case this year because Quinn Ewers needs a big back to step up in that role.

Yeah. I’m sure fall practice against two’s and three’s compares equally to front sevens of the Michigan’s and UGA’s of the world

I had a roommate back in the day that was a SCar grad, and he had an old weathered T-shirt from when they played SCal in the 80's.

"No Trojans can hold back our Cocks".

Illustrated in that same Big Johnson T-shirt style that was all the rage in the 80s. Perfect for an afternoon watching ballgames, yet classy enough to wear to a wedding*

* Wedding to take place in SC.

there has been a lot of bleeding pussy syndrome on this board the last few weeks regarding aggy. I'll never understand it. Those fucksticks are hard-wired for failure when it matters. I dont care if we are 11-0 or 0-11 when we play aggy, I'm always convinced we will win. This year is no different. because fuck aggy and their decades long pursuit of never winning anything of importance.

They have one position group advantage over us so we’re fucked. Duh.

I’ll admit to this myself and eat my crow, smoked over mesquite please. To my credit, I live 1600 miles from aggy and don’t ever see or hear from them. A&M might as well be Texas Tech up here - no one gives a shit about them.

They’re lucky Reed didn’t get broken in half on this play.

I don't know about half.  Head should have come off though.

There is no way he survives a full season as a running QB.

Have to put a lot of blame on Elko for this one. The blitz heavy defense worked well vs LSU and their drop back passer. Could not understand blitzing the piss out of Sellers. Guy made them look silly. Guy is at his best playing sand lot football running around. You have to make QBs like Sellers beat you from the pocket.

And like some other coach i won't name, Elko didn't alter his strategy when it wasn't working. Which is even more bizarre.
