🇺🇸 2024 Election Day 🇺🇸

Drove through Lancaster, PA over the weekend...saw a big farm property with two Trump signs, but then all the rest of houses with signs (about 4) I saw on that road were for Harris.  For that reason, I'm projecting that Kamala Harris will take the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

He just went through a bunch of counties showing Trump doing better than 2020 and Harris doing worse than Biden. Small margins, but didn't sound good.

Dude rural counties outnumber urban counties 10 to 1 or something

Freak out after they report Atlanta and the suburbs.

Until then, it's just a way to keep people watching.

Doesn’t Georgia have an absurd amount of counties though?

Results in Williamson County are moderately disappointing so far but we will see the ED voting.

Allred ahead at least.

Williamson County 2020 was 49.5-48.4 for Trump in early voting only. 49.8-48.5 this year given the likely drift back to early favoring R and election day favoring D would imply to me that Harris will end up winning Wilco by a hair more than Biden did. But yeah, if this is an indication then Texas stays red. Which you should have been expecting of course.

Why?

it is concerning that in several red counties the percentage of votes for Trump is higher than it was when Trump lost by 11,000

While a very minor data dump, it questions. The notion that Republicans are abandoning Trump, or that Republicans and older women are abandoning Trump.   Even a reduction would favor that theory, but Trump getting a higher percentage in those particular red counties is perplexing if that theory was widespread

it’s a stupid metric to even look at currently. I wish I could ignore any post that references it for another 2 hours.

It can stay red this cycle so long as Allred out performs and Cruz loses.

that sounds like someone who knows his state is going blue.

Well hopefully we will lose in a normal way.

Where as Florida seems to be falling into darkness.

But we will see. Maybe Texas also sucks even more than usual.

This is so fuckin depressing.

this.

Voters see the most offensive group of candidates in memory and say, "yeah, I'll vote for them.  that's me all day long."

That makes no sense. That’s not how that is supposed to work. I miss the needle.

Bro, it's not the older women in bumblefuck GA that will leave Trump.  It's the ones in the exurbs that actually see any part of the real world.
