Here's the problem I see with Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and Millennial men: there's no way to change them. They are driven by entitlement. The have been force-fed propaganda about how they're failures unless they have trad wives and nuclear family to rule over. This has fundamentally changed who they are deep down and what their values are.

Once the GOP accomplished that, the only thing they needed to do was make clear appeals to those values. The details never mattered. Trump is the guy who "fights" for those values, and everyone standing in his way is the enemy.

They don't know or care what Project 2025 is, and the few who did look into it said "that sounds great!"

Its entitlement but also a culture of shame, we are 12 years after the start of cancel culture of me too culture and that has scared the living shit out of them, they then congragate in discord servers and social media bubbles and come out turbo misoginists, It would not surprise me that Gen Z men voted for anti abortion just to get even with the female peers that shamed them. Women will have to dial back the sexual revolution really hard.

Yes, silicon valley is fond of Zuckerberg-style mass deployments of unvetted, unethical social experiments. They took the formula that radicalized the Boomers and let it loose on the others. They all self-radicalized.

Classic tale as old as time, the people who hate immigrants the most are slightly previous immigrants who just got their papers... "Fuck you, I got mine" to a T... Would be a real shame if some of those who were born here to undocumented parents and thought they were good thru birthright citizenship and voted for Trump got swept up in this too... a real shame

So your answer is to sexually enslave women?

This rhetoric is why the Democratic Party is struggling to grasp young people 18-40 year old males.ย

I'm not exactly sure how you can advocate anything other than treat women with respect and claim to be a decent human. Which is literally all anyone is saying.

It is indirect, Gen Z women are not sleeping with Gen Z men (well they are but for the absolute top men, leaving an incel army) that is a nuclear level meltdown powder keg, but that is a problem for 3-4 generations from now, manufacturing job failures are today's problem.

Define "top men" since I am just old from the days when men bragged about actual accomplishments and like Mahar said a little charm and self grooming goes a long way in not being an incel.ย

Also, for you olds with gen z sons I can only imagine there is crap on that side too.

Attacking men started on Disney. I use to tell my daughters (no pics) you guys are in for a rude awaking because men are not moronic and whinny. They grew up and guess what the rude awaking was mine most gen Z men are whinny morons be they conservatives or democrats. The thing is they don't like being reminded of it, they like their egos stroked without earning it. I blame Disney for the men we have today.

Were they enslaved 20 years ago? somthing big changed dude like really badly you just don't see because you aged out, and to offset it women are not voting against a turbo misoginist 45% voted for him. incel rage might be enough because it was razor thin margin, but this is alarm bells level of we are going to go through a major war level of alarmism.

I have never been more worried that Gen Z men lied about who they voted for A) there is no cavalry to save us demographically B) meaning they lied to their female peers to keep getting laid but still want to enslave them and turn them into baby making factories. Furthering the shame economy and driving them harder into fascism.

You can be all those things, do all those while also not making the 18-40 male demo seem like theyโ€™re being attacked. The general feel of the that range is that if you donโ€™t 110% support women completely youโ€™re a POS and that women are equal or even better than you. Thats just flat out the perception. Men by nature donโ€™t want to hear that stuff. Just stroke egos. Also that is your blue collar voting base that from what we saw last night aligns with Hispanic males. ย

ย

It goes all the way back to this ad...and continuing promotion of stuff like this....meanwhile the republican party is capitalizing on that.

How many Reagan Republicans really turned their backs on Trump? I think a lot of people voted for him but just didnโ€™t make their support public for obvious reasons.ย

Exactly stroke fucking egos is how women got suffrage in the first place, to loop it back around Disney movies taught women how to dull edgy men, but we are reaching an inflection where zero contact with women is causing men to get edgier and edgier.

I mean, strike off the "better than you" part, then yes, that's exactly what it means. Looking out for the less empowered is one of the absolute fundamental hallmarks of masculinity, and these guys are failing.

Let's see what the next 2 years brings before we can wrestle some control of the legislative branch back.ย  Most important to avoid a war involving NATO and complete cratering of the economy by tariffs and contraction of available labor.ย  Probably a 50-50 shot at best for either.

Sad to say, but we will have to deal with voting rights, women's rights, and climate change maybe afterwards depending on how well democrats do in 2026.ย  Will be interesting to see movement patterns within the US in the next two years.

They are failing, but nothing is being done about it, cancel culture and me too did unimaginable damage to Gen Z gender relations, women need to stroke egos hard, you are not voting enough to offset it, and the male ego is the most dangerous thing in the world.

Since Trump doesnโ€™t have to run again he can really do nothing for the next four years. Heโ€™ll probably spend more than half his term in Florida, playing golf counting donations, threatening to release private info of GOP members like Lindsey Graham, letting Vlad know about secret stuff - they wonโ€™t impeach him a third time since he controls everything. Let Vance run the meetings in DC. Melania can move full time to NY and he wonโ€™t have to deal with her. He might even have a little ring a ding ding with a couple of the cute little aides traveling with him. Life is grand!!!!!! ย

At this point, it's probably dicey to even nominate a minority male unless you've got another Obama/lightning in a bottle candidate.

Need to find another centrist white male who won't rock the boat.ย  That'll certainly anger the progressive portion of the party, but at this point we're past "fool me twice, shame on you" territory.ย

NSIAP - she only got 78% in Philadelphia.ย  Lowest I can find - Kerry got 80% in 2004.
FAR fewer votes than Biden.

D's need to do a post mortem on this and craft a good plan for 2026.ย  Like it or not, it's clear Harris was not a good candidate.ย  And that die was cast in 2020, when she was chosen as the de facto successor to Biden.ย  Biden chose to step down too late.ย  etc.ย  And, her plans did not resonate with voters.ย  SMH.

ย

I'm not sure I buy that another milquetoast, Republican lite appeal is the play after several cycles of underperformance and defeat with that approach. We're not going to out-Republican them and that's not even a goal really worth winning for. There has to be a clear moral contrast and a push for structural reform. Trump is a symptom, not a disease.

Harris was a good candidate in the context. She was dealt a tough hand, unprecedented in modern history. Hell, she was theย onlyย choice with Biden stepping aside when he did. If Biden was going to step aside, 2023 was the time. That's on him and the Democratic Party more so than Harris.

@aggie08ย was correct in his assessment that Biden's legacy is going to go down the toilet. To be fair, the Democratic apparatus owns some blame there too. Biden would have won in 2016, but I don't know that the party was keen on him running.

No shit I am a man as well, but you probably had women in your life that dulled it, made it healthy, men are not interacting with women at younger ages, not sex, not friendship, not anything. This is end of the world fuel.

This weakness in us men in which weย need our egos stoked has always been known and that is why the saying exist that by a good man there is a good woman. The return for the woman was that we would be strong in the face of adversity and get us through it by suppressing our emotions and getting an ulcer. Now many men want their ego stroked but want to run in the face of adversity and mostly play video games. There is some good ones out there that had their Dads teach them well so not all gen z are that way.

Good luck with that itโ€™s a losing battle in the scheme of life. Trying to detach kids from new media and ways of consuming information in this modern digital world and the AI world moving forward is a lost cause. For every person like you that tries it there are countless more just letting their kids be iPad kids and growing up within that realm

it's not an out right ban of social media, it's making sure they have balance in their lives and honestly above all else they don't lose the desire to impress girls and try and convince girls to like them. That is the fundamental issue for gen z boys and once they are chasing the girls, they will do what they need to do to get laid.

There's still a legitimate path to a Democratic House, but either way Democrats are going to dominate the 2026 midterms. I can tell you that right now just because we know that 1.) The midterm electorate favors Democrats now in the way it used to favor Republicans; and 2.) Trump will be an unpopular President.

It basically won't matter what they trot out there. Democrats will have a major House majority after 2026. The Senate map is unfriendly and they'll net two seats, tops (NC and ME).

That will put a check on the most batshit legislation but won't stop anything when it comes to establishing an extremely right-wing judiciary.

Cross posting.

Add to this a few other issues that run deep in the Hispanic community.

1- Their idea of economy is different. The average dude does not have a stock portfolio.

2- The Catholic church. even if they do not attend, it is part of their culture.

3- LatinX. Most I hang out with hate it.

4- They give zero fucks about Taylor Swift and Clooney.

They do not think they are going to be deported once here. And if they are, it is they were unlucky or broke the law.
