We're not in agreement. She wasn't anointed. She was an excellent candidate and you're fucking stupid. Sorry.

then please enlighten me how she underperformed biden in just about every state?

she was an unprimaried, backup replacement after biden’s health deteriorated more quickly than jerry jones’ football teams.

she was gilbert coming in for injured colt.

you’re defending a candidate that got their ass kicked in embarrassing fashion by donald fucking trump as an excellent candidate?

wtf is wrong with you?

the topic is that we should have been better, and you arguing against that is a very weak position to take particularly after just losing an election as pivotal as this one seemed to be.

Are you able to hold two opposing thoughts in your brain at the same time? Based on your posting you appear to lack the ability.

Do you understand the meaning of tamping voter turnout?

If you are arguing that we should have picked Cooper or Beshear I agree, but it was because of misogyny. I am just a realist.

I think as far as skill, her campaign was much that Biden's.  But, she is neither white nor a man, so she did not get as many votes.  It is an indictment of the American voter.

We need a thread on how to survive austerity, shock therapy, Musk will be the first to try to collect his prize, and Trump going full steam ahead with Project 2025 will show his cards on what he thinks about the next "election"

You are looking at incomplete numbers right now.  The voter turnout is projected to end up really high.

Half of the demented criminal's previous officers of Cabinet level had the courage to face the blowback from Magatards and stated publicly that Dotard was totally unfit for office. Yet the newspapers of record in this country shrugged and said no big deal. (I just canceled my wife's nyt sub which she has for the cooking but fuck that noise, she'll have to deal.) This campaign was unprecedented in terms of the large political action committees funded by some of the wealthiest people in the world that were allowed to pump in unfathomable amounts of money AND coordinate with the campaign.

One thing I don't accept as a joke is accusations of taking the NIL money and using it for myself or any personal gain.

I'm happy to show you all the books and the contracts and everything I have done above and beyond with regard to NIL. I heavily subsidize the program. It costs me more than season tickets for a BMD per year personally.

Stop fucking around with me on this topic it's off limits and it's not funny

Good Lord.

The American people didn’t believe that.  And democrats way outspent republicans.

We'll see. But trying to tamp down her turnout and driving up negatives. That's what the unprecedented amounts of money went for. But I'm not the one here saying she got fewer votes than Biden. I don't see that as key at all.

They weren't able to overcome all the lies. She ran a great campaign. You witnessed it. The media was against her because they think an incoherent, nazi with dementia will be good business for them. What we couldn't see was the effect of 7 (or was it 6) apartheid billionaires. Hopefully housing prices hold for 6 months to a year and I gtfo of this country.

You actually believe the media was against Harris?

Do you think the people that voted for Trump read the fucking NYT's or any other newspapers.   You have your head in the sand.

One thing that comes from this political polarization is it gets voters to vote. I think that is overall a positive. I hope they keep doing it.

Yes because apparently unlike you I'm not a fucking moron. With Trump, you idiots take reporting facts as somehow being "against." With Harris they spun bullshit day in and day out. Where's her platform...then they ignore it. Don't demand anything from dotard while he RAN away from his. There's example after example, and I'm sorry it's too much for you to grasp.

I think the NYT sets the agenda for the MSM in this country. I realize there's also a weaponized echochamber of media for braindead vermin such as yourself and the other magatards on this site.

Just wanted to say congrats and best of luck. Our first came into the world about six weeks ago.

They'll be growing up in uncertain times, that's for sure.

LOL.  Here we go again.  Anyone trying to open your eyes to fucking reality is a "Magatard".  JFC.  Everything about your posting perfectly encapsulates how out of touch the average 'liberal' is and why the D's got fucking smoked.    Maybe you should pay attention when other D voters like me attempt to inject a little reality into your fucking echo chamber.   That you think the fucking "MSM" being meaner to Trump could have in any way positively impacted the election for democrats in the year 2024 is proof positive you are completely clueless.

I suspect a percentage of that percentage are themselves misogynists.  Not only is it, sadly, a common trait it seems, it's not one unique to men.

No one seems to remember that a million+ people (1 in every 350 or so), needlessly died due to the Trump admin incompetency. I guess it was just Ma Ma and Pa's time to go to Jesus...

What drives me even more nuts is that Biden cleared that god damn hurdle, he will be remembered as Andrew Johnson the 4th worst president after Buchanon, Trump and the other pre civil war fool.

Biden didn't fare any better with COVID, there were actually more deaths by September of 2021 than in 2020 under Trump, despite Biden having the jab to start his tenure. It was a global pandemic, a suit in Washington wasn't stopping it, and it wouldn't matter who was in charge from the beginning. Those deaths were always going to happen.

She was an excellent candidate, but we are a racist and misoginist country dude, I don't make the rules, I wish I did but we are betting on a losing strategy, even assuming 2028 is free and fair.

I think it's more like she was an excellent candidate for 2008 but we're in 2024 and there has been a paradigm shift in the wants of the electorate and the way that the electorate consumes media.

I'm not saying the Arab American vote was any deciding factor in the election.  But for people like this fuckstick to spike the football for Gaza today is truly mind bottling.  It's not that far from the undocumented illegal working a construction site in Texas high-fiving his coworkers this morning screaming, "Viva Donel!"

One very slight silver lining.  I greatly look forward to the endless posts on the upcoming  "I Can't Believe the Cougars Ate My Face"  thread.   It will be spectacular to read all the Trump voters pleading for sympathy and  Go Fund Me appeals as they deal with the fall out.   I will give absolutely no shits and may even have a few giggles.   ***(The fallout for the non Trump voting innocents will of course be tragic but that is gonna happen regardless at this point unfortunately)
