This is my therapy. I have been in this community a long time. But let's be very, very clear. The board has been very tolerant of attacks on the female posters here, and that shit needs to stop. Do better.

He would lose half or more of the traffic on this board if he didn’t tolerate the misogyny.

One very slight silver lining.  I greatly look forward to the endless posts on the upcoming  "I Can't Believe the Cougars Ate My Face"  thread.   It will be spectacular to read all the Trump voters pleading for sympathy and  Go Fund Me appeals as they deal with the fall out.   I will give absolutely no shits and may even have a few giggles.   ***(The fallout for the non Trump voting innocents will of course be tragic but that is gonna happen regardless at this point unfortunately)

On the Dearborn Caucus, I can't wait for them to ask for free legal work like that did last time and Jewish attorney be like, "Um, no."

Yup, and proud of it. Your family is not my problem. Stop being poor. You live in America and probably can have your college fully paid for in scholarship. Your bad life choices shouldn’t affect my life. You already get welfare from my tax money against my will.

Im an asshole. Don’t care

I'm sorry about your small dick.

Who sounded the alarms? The data was not projecting an enthusiasm gap in this direction or of this magnitude. I can believe the results (this is what I feared would happen to Biden or a post-Honeymoon Harris) but what I am having a hard time believing is that this was a complete shock to the insiders. These kinds of things don't just happen without a bunch of leading indicators in agreement. It's really not that different from hurricane forecasts. I've never seen anything this far outside the cone.

Will be waiting and ready for the first Trump policy to negatively effect a couple friends who are currently celebrating and saying "Joe Rogan and Elon should get Presidential Medals of Freedom next year" and will be there to tell them that this is what they voted for, and they better pull up them boot straps and deal with it...

Also have another friend who this election may have slightly broken, has a brother-in-law who is big MAGA and also happens to be an anchor baby to undocumented parents and he is counting down till January 20th to report them all to be included in the first roundup...

The Tories getting squashed down to 24%, LDP losing their majority in Japan, Modi and BJP getting reduced to coalition partners in India, ANC losing their majority for the first time since the end of apartheid in South Africa, the Botswana Democratic Party being sent to the shadow realm after 60 years of supermajority government, etc., were all signs that things were not going to be good for incumbent parties. Anti-incumbency is as strong across the world as I've ever seen it.

The map for the future doesn’t look too bright for Dems either.

The 2030 apportionment map shows R states picking up 12 electoral votes and D states losing 13

Democrats need to start repairing the severed relationship with the American working class in a hurry. Like, yesterday.

I'm not sure that theory explains it. In all of those races there were probably alarm bells that clued people into the eventual results.

I think very few people realize how shitty things are going to get. Probably not even myself. The R's will nuke the filibuster and will then have carte blanche to turn their evil and backwards Project 2025 bullshit into law. But that will be just the beginning of the dismantling of this country.

I don't think it's possible to overreact to the results of this election. It's truly apocalyptic.

You know what the best thing is all of the people you despise and think are the worst people in the world: President Trump, Elon Musk, MTG, Boebert, Stephen Miller, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, etc, and YOURS TRULY are laughing at you and your ilk and taking great joy at Comrade Kamala’s humiliating loss. The demoralization and helplessness that is being expressed by CR cabal, Reddit and Democrat Twitter is better than I could have ever imagined. There will be no “Resistance” this time. @wildcat09 I have kept the receipts. I told you I’d be back here in this cesspool win or lose.

@PenelopeWitherspoon enjoy the UK, be forewarned that the hard right there has been inspired by Trump’s victory and will be seeking vengeance for having guys like Tommy Robinson and others who have been jailed for social media postings after the murder of 3 English girls this past summer. Keir Starmer and Labour have blown it and my friends at Reform and the Britain First Party are ready to pounce.

True Believers in Trump have been vindicated. Mass deportations of illegals will happen, the Deep State will be gutted and Elon will be the one with the scalpel.

If the couple of threads fighting for top billing today tell me anything its that they either can't or don't want to. The good part is the other side is the same way. Neither wants to be better for the other. They want to be right.

You gonna cry for me Penelope? Give us a little sniffle? Fuck…You. This is Trump’s America now sweetheart. Either change your gender like a good girl or go make me a sandwich.

Maybe I should be more sympathetic. I mean, something happened in America that you don’t like as a white woman.

There were alarm bells here as well. Remember when the election betting odds were routinely being dismissed and discredited? https://electionbettingodds.com/ had the odds as Trump 57% Harris 43% on Election Day before the polls closed, and it just got more and more lopsided after that.

I said this weeks ago -- the only place that ever thought this was in the bag for Kamala was right here.

Everyone on tv and in print admitted that it would be close and she was the underdog   And CR routinely accused them of just acting like it was close to drive ratings.

How the hell was the VP of a guy with 39% approval gonna blow anybody out?

What is crazy is that the smartest person I know on the right (and fight with frequently) has been telling me for 2 weeks this is exactly what was going to happen.  He had plenty of links (most of which I didn't open out of fear of Elon Musking my feed) supporting this outcome.  The actual outcome pretty much mirrored the betting market expectations.   I posted about this last week that I was so confused how 2 sides were so confident. I was wishcasting the confidence from the right was all part of the plan to challenge the election (and maybe that was the case) but those that followed closely on that side were not surprised.   It seemed to me everyone's expectations were totally dependent on their personal algorithm (and national media/pollsters just hedged their bets calling it a tossup).

I wonder if the D insiders actually had bad some bad data and just hoped it was wrong or refused to believe it.

Y’all had every institution on your side: legacy media, universities, corporate HR department, Big Tech other than Twitter, etc. and still lost. We have built our own ecosystem where the old means of manufacturing consent and consensus have died. We have contempt for the 3 letter agencies you cling to. Let’s not forget about the fecklessness of celebrity endorsements - y’all had Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala and it didn’t mean shit in the end. Y’all trotted out war criminals and their extended families in the Cheneys, Bushes and neocon scum like Bill Kristol to bolster Kamala’s case. Your side is completely lost and has no moorings.

The polls had Trump winning.  The surprise was that he swept the battlegrounds and was so far out in the popular vote.

The funniest part about all this is this dude that is not white and has acted as a homosexual prostitute for drugs is absolutely convinced his ass isn't going up against the wall in the first few waves should his aspirations of true American fascism ever actually get realized.

Per a tweet, the polymarket betting forecast electoral map on 10/25 matched the final results by state precisely.  So yeah, maybe we should not have dismissed that.

No shit….  I’ve been saying that but got negged for it.  I think you were one of them..  Some people refuse to see the actual problem or understand it and instead call the working class racist and ignorant. There in lies the problem. Maybe people understand a bit of what I said yesterday now….  No I wasn’t wrong to the people that said that and mocked it, I was 100% correct.
