I said this weeks ago -- the only place that ever thought this was in the bag for Kamala was right here.

Everyone on tv and in print admitted that it would be close and she was the underdog   And CR routinely accused them of just acting like it was close to drive ratings.

How the hell was the VP of a guy with 39% approval gonna blow anybody out?

The fact that her opponent's a convicted felon, traitor, and deeply stupid asshole who already put a full term of the worst presidency ever on tape, and then refused to accept he lost an election like a baby, and ended up causing a violent riot in the US Capitol with his incessant lies. And she kicked his ass in the debate and ran a much better campaign.

There were alarm bells here as well. Remember when the election betting odds were routinely being dismissed and discredited? https://electionbettingodds.com/ had the odds as Trump 57% Harris 43% on Election Day before the polls closed, and it just got more and more lopsided after that.

You should totally sue and get to the bottom of this chicanery.

Scoreboard bee-yatch! Turn off the “I’m not a single issue voter” light off before you leave to investigate.

Our problem was too many people voted

You can select and filter specific demographics and see how their votes shifted from 2020 to 2024 here: https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/hong.qu5598/viz/2020vs2024electionsvoterintentsubgroupanalysisv2/2020vs2024pollsubgroups?publish=yes

For example, older African-Americans did not shift at all: 95% for Biden in 2020, 95% for Harris in 2024. Younger African-Americans shifted +20 towards Trump between 2020 and 2024. Hispanic males who made less than $100K went from 64% for Biden in 2020 to just 46% for Harris in 2024. And so on.

Yeah, and at no point was she ever kicking his ass in the polls because of any of that.

She should've been.  But, she wasn't.

And Donald Trump has always had a silent voting bloc that doesn't show up in the polls, but they do show up on Election Day.

Yes, this country is THIS stupid.  I can't wait to see what supervillain we pick next.  Vivek, maybe?  God dammit.

Did anyone ever answer the House outcome question? I'm still seeing NY Times showing very easy path to control for the dems. That would provide some protection for the next two years at least. Followed by the typical mid-term losses for party in the Whitehouse. It'd provide some oversight to the insanity that's about to come and block the worst of government dismantling.

Trending R by just a couple seats but it's going to be a week or two as final results are tallied out west and in extremely close races all around. There is still an avenue, though I wouldn't hold your breath.

It's honestly pretty odd; the shift at the presidential level is significant by today's polarized standards. Senate results have mostly converged within a point. And yet Democrats appear to have fought to more or less a stalemate in the House.

The map for the future doesn’t look too bright for Dems either.

The 2030 apportionment map shows R states picking up 12 electoral votes and D states losing 13

Population trends over the rest of the decade are unlikely to simply be extrapolated 2021-23 trends. Similar directionally, sure, but not as extreme. Also GA and NC should not be called res states. Yes, they went GOP this round but their margins are in line with the Rust Belt and confirm battleground status.

Just wanted to say congrats and best of luck. Our first came into the world about six weeks ago.

They'll be growing up in uncertain times, that's for sure.

Thanks I appreciate it. Definitely, not the outcome I was hoping for. But feel like it’s a charge to do better for the newest member of the tribe than what I see going on around me.

The polls had Trump winning.  The surprise was that he swept the battlegrounds and was so far out in the popular vote.

The major polling aggregators (FiveThirtyEight, Silver Bulletin, 270ToWin, RCP) all had Harris ahead by small margins. Certainly within the MOE, but saying they had Trump winning seems inaccurate. And certainly not by such a decisive margin.

Don't forget Cuellar (TX-28) will be gone in a few months.

Voting should be limited to pretty much just me and like 3 other posters.

There should be about 2000 more house seats/electoral votes apportionment is completely broken and a big reason how we're so fucked up

Does anyone think having a mini primary would have changed the outcome?

Possibly.  Someone not in the admin could have done better.  The 7 battlegrounds were all close.

The final tally is still to be finished, the western states could erase that huge popular vote delta not that it matters but it is good for autopsy. The same number of people voted in Penn, probably more, there were vote flips to Trump.

The thing that may have made a difference is Biden. Had he been more aggressive in his hiring of an AG to prosecute white collar criminals. If the Senate had been able to be more aggressive in kicking Roberts and Thomas in the nuts. But they were blocked by the nutcase from AZ and the midget from WV.

You’re describing the pedos that belong to your party. Trump will be revealing the Epstein client list once he is inaugurated. It will be a who’s who of Democrats. You’ll have that to look forward to in 2025. Maybe you’ll feel better after negging me some more. Nahh, you have 4 more years of Trump to look forward to. Dark days ahead for you bitch.

He has been saying this for a while now, is it like his healthcare plan?

I will bet you $100 that he does not release the list in 2025.

Why couldn’t she make that decision for herself?

Well, sir, please rest assured that she will. She'll get the email and then we'll talk about it. We already have without making a final decision. But this provides a deadline, which is in a couple of months when the fucking thing expires.

lol, he doesn't know Trump's also a pedo? I thought that was one of the things that attracted Mac. Pedo loves pedo. Maybe since one likes boys and one likes girls, he's oblivious. One day he'll discover his dear leader is on the take from the Saudis and the Russians, and for some reason idolizes a short, fat dickless fuck from N Korea.

I think one of Kamala’s fatal mistakes was not supporting a single payer Medicare for All. Where did that talk go all of a sudden? Don’t you want to energize people? Did she ever talk about continuing the Biden fight for student loan forgiveness? Then her vague fracking and price fixing answers.

Trump was just asked about it within the past month. He was SHOOK. "Umm ahhh well, we'll do. We'll probably do it. Buuuut there's a lot of fake stuff in there so we'd have to be very careful not to put that out" Direct quote, the video should be easy to find. Well, DOTARD, the videos were taken directly from Epstein's safe, what fake stuff is he going to have on it?

Fucking mac is so fucking stupid.
