So far, every single indicator we hoped for, with the big caveat of no dem GA counties reporting, hasn’t happened. Florida was a landslide with weed and abortion on the ballot, GA sill a big question mark at best. NC seems like the last promising real hope for early confidence.

you are being very undude.

So far, this is looking like 2020, with FL being big time redder and the midwest looking a bit bluer.  GA/NC are going to both be close.

This is not what you were saying would happen

Didn't those initiatives need 60% to pass?

Reread what you just wrote.  Florida is red is the only concrete conclusion drawn, which we already knew.

This is 2020 again - except this time nobody expected Dems to do well in Florida, I feel I'm taking crazy pills.

Well I have been saying it since forever Florida is gone man, forget it exists and treat it like Oklahoma, we don't need it though.

Florida is Florida. Haven’t seen anything in Georgia or NC overly concerning.

Certainly would have preferred more comfortable indicators in Georgia, like clear Red losses, but thus far still tracking ok given the offsets.

My point was that those two initiatives don’t even make the count closer. Rick Scott was called 20 minutes past 7. That is a poor fucking sign.

It's exactly what he said would happen.

Ahhhhhhhhh i said this morning that O'Malley-Dillon was referencing Florida the other day - do not read too much into Florida's results, bc it's now just red NY.  How FL votes is not going to affect how any of the 7 swing states vote.

NC is super tight right now. Like 1k separating Kamala and dotard with 14% reporting.

Florida got a lot of red transplants over the last 4 years.

Dallas Democrats have fought hard against city props S, T, and U. Only S is passing right now. Just for reference for all yall non Dallas folks

  • Proposition S - to give “standing to any resident of Dallas to bring a lawsuit against the city to require the city to comply with provisions of the city charter, city ordinances and state law.”
  • Proposition T - this would require the city to conduct a city-commissioned community survey each year of a minimum of 1,400 Dallas residents that would cause either the city manager earning a performance-based pay raise or the city manager’s firing.
  • Proposition U- this has two elements. One would earmark at least 50% of new revenue each year to fund the Dallas Police and Fire Pension. The other would require the city to maintain a force of at least 4,000 police officers and increase starting pay for officers.

Who the fuck would want their job security tied to an annual survey? I'm sure this will get all the best city manager candidates flocking to Dallas.

I literally said NC was the last hope for early confidence we have they looks ok. As in it’s the last hope for an early huge win we will get before 1 am

Florida is more red now because they had a net R migration from the north - places like MI, WI, and PA. This is ok.

I guess all that talk about The Villages was just that.
