What I still don’t understand—you vote for turnip for President but vote for the Dem for senator.

It's not that complicated. To start, just find a white male under 40.

I was just hoping to improve on Biden's 2020 vote in Texas, I didn't think we would win.

I hoped that was pointing us forward but it might have been a high water mark. We'll see.

If she loses, Dems may learn someday that running bad candidates doesn’t usually work.  When Biden pulled out they should have done a 1968 and had an open convention.  A stronger candidate would have emerged, even if it turned out to be her having to fight for it.

Everything you just said is laughable

Man, I don't think anyone could have done better than she did.

I am sorry about people that got excited about Iowa, I really am but with such a small EC vote even winning there is meaningless.

How was she a bad candidate? Agreed, no one really got to pick their choice, but she ran it perfectly.

There is nothing that could have changed this. Harris ran a phenomenal campaign, hence all of our optimism 12 hours ago. Worldwide, incumbents - which she essentially is - have been fucked for the last few years.

We hoped that the US was different, but it’s clear we were wrong.

Those circles are stupid because if it’s 51/49 the circle makes it look like all the votes are one color.

How about we create a twitter and post some of those TexAgs politics screenshots to all of their Black athletes and recruits?

I'd have said this is an absurd map and it still probably is, but with about half the vote in, Harris is running ahead of Biden in Maricopa and Pima counties in AZ. AKA where everyone lives. Something to keep an eye on.

Well, as author of that map, I would like more information as to why you think its absurd.  Perchance?

There are few rural counties that are 51/49 and few urban areas are close too.

Great insight! '68 worked out great for the Dems!

For fuck sake, Trump is the single shittiest candidate of all time. Harris is not a bad candidate. The dem platform is the issue if she loses.

Was that the entire Gwinnett  dump?  that didn't cut into the lead enough...

The idea of holding on to AZ while losing GA, WI, and especially NV doesn't really square. We'll see I guess. Looking bleak.

That would require a 60% Harris result in the remaining votes.

And then lawsuits.

No, in Nevada, their signatures aren’t “matching” because young people don’t write anymore—they text/type

I think what's that about is when they signed up to register they had to use a touch screen or a pointer to scrawl their signature. Then when they signed their name to register or on the ballot if it was mailed, the signatures looked nothing alike.
