That's the dumbest thing I've seen lately.

You think this shitbag country is going to vote for a fucking Jew?  Are you fucking high?  White "Christian" males only.   Others need not apply.

I am tired so fucking tired, but no more identity politics for the rest of my life, white male christians only until the end of time.

Yes, that would have made things much different in this election cycle…

LOL, what a shortsighted comment.

The EC has been the primary mechanism that has politically divided our country. It was a slow burn, but here we are.

She lost because the entire platform is completely fucked. People straight up just didn't vote not only for her, but top to bottom on the ticket.

You guys don't seem to get it. This isn't a Harris did bad and dragged everyone down with her. This is a real shift in the electorate. This was a sweep. Trump didn't win by single digits. It wasn't close.

Every single policy of the Democratic party is more favorable than any of the Republikkkan. It wasn't about policy. It was lies and deception and fooling low information, stupid fucks.

Not that I ever put much faith in this round of polls, but safe to say we should all be done with them now. What's the point if they completely miss a tonal shift like this? It's one thing to miss on Trump, but damn near everyone?

I'm not sure the polls really missed that much on Trump.  They had the battlegrounds all very close.  Did he actually win any of them outside of the MOE?

Need a constitutional amendment.

Good luck with that.

Yeah, I think it's unlikely to ever happen. But if you're looking for a tangible reason why we are where we are today, it's the Electoral College.

And I would say the same thing today if Kamala had won the EC and popular vote.

Dismiss it all you want. This country has been broken for decades. When was the last time we had a Constitutional amendment?

Yes, like all those things. Literally fix what's broken. The filibuster has made the Senate fucking worthless no matter who's in office and has forced the executive branch to pursue methods of power that shouldn't be necessary to legislate the country.

The supreme court is insane and in dire need of reform.

Guns in America are a problem that need to be solved with common sense

She obviously didn't. She didn't even get to Joe Biden's vote count. Trump didn't find more voters.

They weren't able to overcome all the lies. She ran a great campaign. You witnessed it. The media was against her because they think an incoherent, nazi with dementia will be good business for them. What we couldn't see was the effect of 7 (or was it 6) apartheid billionaires. Hopefully housing prices hold for 6 months to a year and I gtfo of this country.

Stop living like this. Don't feel sorry for people who spent more than a billion dollars trying to get elected and didn't resonate with their target demographic enough to get them to actually vote.

Yea, well Harris made the division smaller this cycle as she did worse in traditionally democrat strongholds and demographics.

Maybe, if we deem them so. That’s why we have an amendment process. There’s nothing in the constitution mandating a 9 member scotus or the filibuster

And this is how the Ds intentionally carved up the electorate beginning in 2016.  Decided they would rather have Penelope W. as a reliable supporter instead of rust belt union workers because she could them a table at her private dining club.  Brilliant strategy

This strategy started in 2012, not 2016.

No one benefits from the filibuster long term. This post is nonsense. It's the reason why sane policy isn't put forward.

So you're saying a convicted fraudulent felon and rapist is not a terrible candidate?

She wasn't going to win because she was behind the 8 ball as a black woman in America.

He won the popular vote? He was the superior candidate in the Republican Party for 12 years. Kamala was always unpopular and got a fake media bump when she was announced, in reality she was never popular. And wouldn’t have been nominated under normal circumstances (as shown in 2020). I’ll go the other direction and say the only reason she did half as well as she did is because she is a woman.

Its not, the guesswork is before not after the results. Its clear when the data is the real data and not predicted stuff.

Huh? You're misunderstanding me. They spent 700 Billion between 6 nazis (or was it 800 between 7) to sponsor the most vile US presidential campaign ever. Those fucks had that much money to spend and risk. They also had the worst candidate EVER who couldn't even complete a sentence. The nazis ran on a campaign of complete lies too. I don't know how you Monday morning quarterback against that.

Everyone is going to absorb this result at their own pace, but if Trump was gonna win, this was the best way for it to happen IMO.  Policy wise it will be a disaster for women and marginalized people, and I'm pretty nervous about foreign policy. But if there is ever gonna be a reconciliation of the people in American society, this is the shock to the system that can get the ball rolling.

So Surly Trump assholes, do your thing for now. But let's all start talking like adults soon.

Americans fought back last night against the psychotic anti-American radical left that has been shoved down our throats the last 5 years.

This was a complete beat down. Every swing state. Blue states the closest they have been in 15+ years..

Joe Biden had 81 million votes. Kamala is sitting at under 67.

Nazis didn't make a whole bunch of people stay home.

Uh, popularity of the cloture rule in the Senate just made a dramatic reversal on this board. Mitch McConnell's hard line stance wrt the filibuster probably saved the Democrats neck for the next 2 years.

I don't know how you idiots are blaming Kamala Harris. She was part of the most successful 4 years of a US presidency for anyone under age 40. They completely turned this country around from the burning ashes left by the trumptards and put us at an elite position in the world economy.
