Reee all you want.  But no accountability?  Ever heard of the exclusionary rule? I am certain there is a robust amount of 4th Amendment case law on searches and seizures of patient medical records in criminal cases.  Because abortion is not the first time a state actor has tried to use medical records as evidence in a criminal proceeding.
If a state actor violates the 4th, assert your rights in court.  If the state courts do not give you redress, we have federal courts.  File a habeas petition.
I am not trolling at all with this post.

Do you think that medical records cannot be subpoenaed by the State to use in criminal proceedings?

I don't think you do. If you're a doctor you're more insulated from the struggles of the last four years to make ends meet, that's why you're going to be fine. For those less fortunate it's been a rough four years. It's a big reason this was a landslide in the other direction. At the very least if inflation is low or remains constant the next four years than we can expect prices won't be climbing as quickly as they were. That would be a welcome result for many.

Expecting that half the country won't be fine is a bunch of doom and gloom and unrealistic. We've been through this once before, some of us were even better off during those years. We'll get through the next four years too.

I treat patients who can’t pay. And I can’t write that care off. So I actually pay to care for them, because my overhead is the same regardless of whether I’m seeing paying patients or not. So I absolutely see that people are hurting. I also am the first person on the maternal side of my family to graduate high school, and grew up with not much and have family members who still don’t have much and rely almost completely on the government for their livelihoods. So when I see Medicare patients or patients who are self pay or no pay because our healthcare system is so fucked up wearing MAGA gear, or certain family members and childhood friends posting on Facebook about this wonderful, God granted red wave, I am no longer just an eye roller. My daughters are in literal peril of their lives should they get pregnant in my state. My daughters as well as gay friends and family members are in physical danger due to the newfound boldness of bigots and freaks who don’t consider them as human. I have no more fucks to give for any of them. I will care for my patients as I always have, taking them as I find them. I will not go out of my way one little bit to help anyone who voted this orange shitgibbon and his minions into office. My only priority at this point is the wellbeing of my immediate family

And the idea that anything Trump plans on doing is going to lower grocery or gas prices is too ridiculous to even address

I don’t know.  I know that it is an issue that certainly has been addressed by courts under the 4th amendment’s rubric.  Abortion isn’t something special.  I’m sure the state wants the psyche records of someone on trial for chopping someone up. Whether the subpoena is subject to a sustained objection on 4th amendment, privilege or some other grounds is something for the courts.  Abortion isn’t different.

I haven’t been in this thread but has anyone address the total voting numbers?

In 2020 (during Covid) Biden had 81 million votes and Trump had 74 million.

In 2024 Harris has 70 million votes and Trump has 74 million.

Where did 11 million democrats go? Or how did 11 million extra democrats vote in 2020?

Ballots are still being counted, not that it matters to the conspiracy theorist mind.

Thanks. It’s been 3 days. I guess I’m surprised we are still missing 11 million votes.

Election vote counting lasts weeks, always has been.

Media projections are done in hours and the tiny brains think it means the entire vote was counted on election night.

That said I do agree it should be done faster, we must nip MAGA stupidity at the bud, even if no MAGA minds are changed.

I live in the same neighborhood, so, yeah. Only difference is I’ll help other bleeding hearts where I can and I still don’t want kids dying in schools so I can play with my guns.

The country voted for hate. I’m matching energy. I’m not one of those go high when they low folks. I hope Trump voters get everything they voted for.

Suffice to say that asking people living paycheck to paycheck to focus on bigger picture issues affecting others and to vote for moral principles while seemingly keeping the economic status quo was a major miscalculation.

If gives major miscalculations a good name. It was complete  failure and shows just how out of touch democrats are with average people

Makes total sense. We can count 144 million votes in 3 days. Obviously the last 11 million will take another 3 weeks. Duh!

Keep stereotyping and putting your head in the sand about it you dumb mother fucker. Democrats are so out of touch they assume because your Hispanic you will vote for them regardless and not realizing the Hispanic male is basically the a white male. God this is why the left is so fucking idiot. You got your ass kicked on all 3 levels and the popular vote and this is your reply….just goes to show how fucking out of touch the left is with reality of America in 2024.

You should go back and look at the Hispanic vote for W in 2004.

Tell us what you find.

Then tell us what happened in 2008.

Obviously, trying to sell an "actually, our inflation is lower than most first world countries" message isn't a winner, but I wonder if plastering the airwaves with clips of economists stating Harris's plan was much more promising w.r.t. inflation could have made a dent. Probably not, but would have resonated more than "don't let Donald Trump win and go after his revenge list."

Nah gotta make it more stupid and to the point. Attack tariffs in simplistic form and attack opponent economy message. Don’t even try to overthink. KISS

Look you fucking twit - I didn’t think Hispanics were going to vote for her. The racism runs deep between black and Hispanic.

The avg American thinks groceries cost too much when they are $20 more than they were before inflation sky rocketed. Vibes don’t equal reality.

Democrats trying to intellectually debate economy is a failed strategy. Keep it simple as fuck and the message just can’t be 3 months long. Shape narratives by attacking opponent. Nobody gives a fuck about policy details. Democrats lost to a party that said Haitians were eating dogs and turned it into a meme song when there was blow back. Republicans are just fucking better at shaping a narrative and flipping negative narratives.

Well, they're only better when they win. When they lose they're a train wreck.
