I'm confused how there aren't any reports on Lagway other than what Napier said publicly. Does UF not have nosey 9.95ers who leak everything in advance?

recall the weigman fiasco 6ish weeks ago

we find out tomorrow night:

https://www.si.com/college/florida/explanation-of-the-sec-new-availability-report-rule-01j7gw225xf2

for each Saturday conference game, team's must release an initial availability report on Wednesday by 8 p.m. EST followed by a daily report on Thursday and Friday, which must be released between the end of practice and 8 p.m. ET.

I keep seeing people say that Florida has run a lot of 2 high with off coverage by CBs, if they do that Texas is going to roll. Will be interesting to see if they play their style or they change their style based on the film.

Maybe Quinn can force some deep balls into coverage so he can quiet the message boards?

I’ve given up hope on Quinn’s deep ball, now I just hope he stops side arm throwing into the arms of the DLine.  If he could throw over handed to get some more height and trajectory on those mid range throws and that alone could prevent a couple of interceptions. I digress, I’m no QB whispering guru so I don’t know shit about fuck

Not if their DC and HC have a clue. The blue print is working, it would be pretty poor coaching not to at least attempt to replicate it once again.

Fortunately, with their current Yale QB, I don't see them putting up a lot of points.

i cant see Florida scoring a lot. Texas just has to do a good job stopping the run. I am just curious as to how the Florida defense will play. I am guessing they will play they will be aggressive, but Napier does have a losing HC record at Florida so who knows.

I'm good friends with his cousin, and he wanted to be closer to his girlfriend. The only reason I'm offering the slight correction is because once again it remains undefeated lol

No matter how amazing it is in this case, it isn't worth trading a Yale degree for UF degree. That kid is going to regret this, IMO

Nick Starkel is doing big things with his A&M and San Jose State degrees after turning down Yale. (Flipside, he appears to be living in Hawaii, so that's pretty nice)

On3 has an update on Lagway's injury. I don't have access but based on some tweets it sounds like a grade 2 strain. No idea what that means for likelihood of playing Saturday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida Gatorsquarterback DJ Lagway suffered a hamstring injury against Georgia and did not return to the game, but he hasn’t been ruled out for Saturday at No. 5 Texas. Gators Online has learned more details about his injury and status, according to multiple sources.

Lagway has been diagnosed with a grade 2 hamstring strain, according to sources. He has received PRP injections this week to promote tissue healing and speed up his recovery process.

Sources said that Lagway spent Sunday and Monday resting his left hamstring, but his condition improved on Tuesday. He was even able to do some work in the weight room.

Lagway will try to run for the first time on Wednesday. One source said the freshman QB wants to play at Texas, but his pain tolerance will ultimately determine whether he can.

Florida coach Billy Napier said Monday that Lagway’s availability for the game will become apparent later this week.

“I think a lot of that will be to be determined as we move our way throughout the week,” Napier said. “We’re going to kind of see how that goes. I think obviously the position that he plays makes that possible. Look, it’s going to be pretty clear-cut once we get to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, so we’ll know.”

Eugene Wilson is out. That is huge loss for Florida. There was some thought he would come back for this game.

Montrell Johnson is back. He is the guy that took Etienne's job and forced him to portal to Georgia. Arguably the best group of RBs Texas will see this year.

If that article is accurate and [if] he has a grade 2 hamstring strain and [if] received a prp injection, then there’s no way he’s playing on Saturday.

If... if... if...

Triple if projection, impressive and Surlily done!
