There's only one real "if" there - the article being accurate. The other two follow implicitly.

Is it your opinion that explicit editorial constructions are virtually unreal?

Eugene Wilson is out. That is huge loss for Florida. There was some thought he would come back for this game.

Montrell Johnson is back. He is the guy that took Etienne's job and forced him to portal to Georgia. Arguably the best group of RBs Texas will see this year.

Baugh is a lot better than Johnson. Montrell is a JAG that Napier brought over from Louisiana that he features solely out of nepotism

I see the family resemblance.

I wonder if our offense will pull its head out of its ass...

If Texas shuts down the run vs Florida, I am not sure Florida will be able to break 10 pts.

This game won’t be nearly as easy as we would like and the spread is a joke.

I’ll be happy with a W because I expect Quinn to continue looking shitty and throw terrible picks.

Damn you better hammer the spread then. Go Gata!

If that article is accurate and he has a grade 2 hamstring strain and received a prp injection, then there’s no way he’s playing on Saturday.

Playing one week after a grade 2 hamstring strain is crazy.

Honestly, an icon.  Got into Texas, played for like two series, going to get a UT grad degree.

And if the team can win something with a trophy attached, he gets a ring and story to tell his kids.

I hope he has a really good story.

Maybe he can Byron Leftwich it and play on a broken ankle and be carried to the next play by his OLine.

It's great because we basically get another bye week. We might as well just let our 2nd string put up 35 and rest the 1st string.

Jk. I want us to stomp a hole through their esophagus to let the rest of the league, and especially aggy to know we're coming to burn their village down.

We're going to shit on Florida's souls.

We have the best coaching staff in America and they got embarrassed two weeks in a row.

I think everyone is going to see a different Texas down the stretch here.

On3 has an update on Lagway's injury. I don't have access but based on some tweets it sounds like a grade 2 strain. No idea what that means for likelihood of playing Saturday
Doesn't matter, he wasn't exactly torching Georgia before he went out. He may turn into a dangerous QB, but not this year..hammy pull or not.

Yeah, he's talented, and you can see that, but he has a lot to work on.

He would have presented problems for Texas.. not saying insurmountable ones, but him being out is a big plus. He's going to be a force to recon with next year.

Uhh, not quite. In spite of their lack of winning, Florida still has quite a few elite players on both sides of the ball. If we don't take this one seriously it could bite us in the ass.

I have to be in San Antonio all weekend for high school band UIL Finals.

Any local spots to watch the game ? Texas ex watch party?

I’ll be near Alamodome but would consider driving a bit if it’s a cool place. Thanks .

The Texas Ex watch party is at little woodrow's on the Northside. Since you'll be closer to downtown, Pinkerton's is a good option as well.

Unless our offense pulls its head out of its collective ass, every game we have left is like this.  Hopefully, the bye week will help.  But the last bye week seemed to enable us to be shittier, at least on offense.

Time for all that talent to live up to its billing.

If lagway is out, this will be a cake walk

They're terrible, we should win convincingly.

I'll also say this, if Lagaway truly has a Grade 2 strain, it would be totally irresponsible for Napier to play him. But I believe what's coming out of Gainesville about as much as I believe the Iraqi information minister.

Lagway isn’t good right now. Not even sure I’d call him a playmaker yet. On top of that, his mobility is severely limited if he plays this week.

If Napier is smart, he punts Lagway this week to give him time to heal and maybe win one of the more doable tough games on the rest of their schedule.

Florida-

DFEI- 26

OFEI- 41

Pts per drive

Offense- 64

Defense- 74

I believe their secondary is really banged up. If Quinn can handle all the simulated pressures Florida will show, this will be a relaxing afternoon. Defense needs to stop the run and force the Yale kid to beat them. Watch the kid in the slot, he ran a 10.65. He can go.

I highly doubt he goes. He doesnt have command of the offense. One of the worst passers in the SEC in the intermediate and short game, but one of the best with the deep ball. He isnt afraid to throw it. Kind of like Milroe in that regard. It works in that run heavy offense, because your safeties have to respect the deep ball.

Yeah, he's ironically nearly the polar opposite of QE. Great long ball, great scrambler, fast and can avoid a sack. Bad underneath and slow on his reads. Runs before check down to outlet.

Florida has a stupid coach, but he's not that stupid. Playing him this soon is bad for both the coach's and the player's future.

He's listed as maybe so Texas has to scheme for both.
