Wouldn't this benefit cities and suburbs while leaving the rural areas to die off?

Damn. Lots of Trump supporters who said they would die for him might have that chance.

The elderly who depend on these costly drugs for survival, will reluctantly come to the conclusion that the monster they voted for is doing this for their ultimate good.

Because only dirty sinful faggots get AIDS, the gay plague.  And they all need to burn in hell, the sooner the better.  Duh.  Did you not get the "this is exactly what Jesus would do" memo?

Trump likely believes HIV is a gay and/or black people problem. Aid to gays and blacks is inconsistent with his priorities so it has to go.

More likely- reports saying if review of web material was too voluminous to get through by 5p today then it came down

i'm still havent fully come to grips with the fact that trump won.  i'm not saying stop the steal, or that we should enter 16 lawsuits to challenge the results, and lose all 16 like some would do. but the fact is he lost to hillary by 3 million votes.  he lost to biden by 7 million votes.  how is it there was a 9 million vote swing in the country?  i have a hard time believing that.  sure, there was the typical republican shenanigans - some gerrymandering, some firing of election officials, some "election monitors" put in place.  but you dont get 9 million votes out of that.  there are a certain number of votes you lose because some people, regardless of party, believe a woman shouldnt be president.  there are a certain number of votes you lose because some people, regardless of party, believe a person of color shouldnt be president.  but you dont get 9 million votes out of that either.

in my opinion, the election was lost after the disaster of the first debate.  biden showed he was not capable of being president.  yet our whole party, and 150 million+ americans, were all set to support him.  disaster.  total incompetence.  a party excited about leading the country does better vetting than that.  i believe even kamala would have won had biden stepped down, enthusiastically given the reins to her, and she participated in the first debate.  changing the horse in midstreams showed disfunction within the party and caused voters to lose faith.this

conservative policies have never been popular in this country.  this is not a conservative country.  the last time a republican presidential candidate won the popular vote was w in 2004, 20 yrs ago. congress is an example of how evenly split the country is.  it could go either way every election.  whats ignorant is when you do win, to say you have a mandate.  51% of the votes is not a mandate.  thats like winning a football game because the other team went for two and didnt make it.   you take the win, but dont brag about it.  if youre smart, you go to the boardroom and figure how you almost lost and how to get better.  you won because the other team screwed up.

he is my president and i will support him.  i wont leave the country, i wont wish for him to fail  i want america to excel and be a beacon of light and hope for the world.  i may not have full faith in rodney terry, but i want us to win.  what i think will happen, is the republicans will shit the bed, and the dems will come in in 4 years to clean it up.  already grocery prices are going up, and they will just go up more, as will the price of goods overall, after tariffs kick in.  already there are ramifications of the massive government layoffs in air traffic safety.  there will be more.  letting food inspectors go is just another example.  if i'm wrong, and he has the blueprint to success that he thinks he has, then the gop may never lose another election.  this is their shining moment, the best opportunity theyve ever had.  they have the house of reps, senate, white house, and supreme court.  if conservative policies are good for the country we'll be in fantastic shape in 4 years.  who believes that will happen? who's willing to wager?  theyve never had a better chance to show they can lead.  i would say after this first week, theyre off to a rocky start.

He fired almost all the FBI top folks. If there was ever a time to crime, it is now. The morale in the FBI is below "fuckit" now. I love this simulation. We are most definitely safer now!

Know some who got the fuck out. They are hating it

Things getting shitty and even unrest is good for the admin.  That’s the type of thing that you use to justify even greater special measures.

We are in an authoritarian state. It’s happening here. Consider— those fired FBI personnel?  Who do you think did that? Who processed the papers? Who walked them out? Who is uploading their separation papers.

Just regular people. Civil servants who happily worked for Biden. Who are scared to lose their jobs.  So they’ll do this.

And according to the memo, no DOT support going forward for communities that enact vaccine or mask mandates.  Because, you know, states rights or something.

But this brings up a question.  First, what the hell does that have to do with transportation?  Secondly, doesn't almost every school district in the nation impose a vaccine mandate of some kind?  My own county requires quite a number.  That's mandated by state law.  So, does this cut off DOT funds from everyone?  Might as well shut the DOT down, right?  DOGE for the win!  We are going to witness a resurgence of Polio, Measles and other nastiness?  Aren't we?

It's only week 2 of 208 folks.

shouldn't they be covered by medicare ?

long game here, medicare is gutted / sold off and then prices can go up on the end user ?

long game #2, cheap alternatives are quickly compounded in the US and those are your new medicare meds ?

Setting aside the persons involved, it's not a completely unusual transaction.  Members of the BOD granted shares.  Two things do stand out, they're not options, apparently, but outright shares, and it's $800,000+ at current prices.

Corporations grant options to directors as a form of compensation and to "align" their performance with that of the company.  Options meaning restricted as to vesting and subsequent sale, so that the director is incentivized to stick around and make the company profitable.

Even though directors of major, Fortune 500 companies tend to be overcompensated, it's usually to the tune of a couple hundred grand for a few meetings a year and some ostensible liability. A one-time payment of $800k to undistinguished directors of a shitass, unprofitable corporation is pretty extraordinary.

Then you add in the Trump circle jerk and it's pretty disgusting.

Motherfucker what the fuck are you talking about? Do you think Kash Patel works for fucking truth social?

30 prosecutors from the Washington DOJ office walked tonight for prosecuting J6ers. That’s quite a large percentage of the field office. Oh and DC is a unique place with federal jurisdiction so the local DOJ office handles most crimes in the city with the local “state” AG office takes stuff like traffic and juvie cases. Anyone feel safer? Who wants to drive to DC and commit felonies?
