JD Vance is certainly a shapeshifter, but I don't think he was ever a Democrat.

Are you claiming democrat leaders did not say those things about Trump?  Or his supporters?

Bet you were cool with Democrat leaders calling Trump a Nazi/Fascist though.  Or am I wrong?

A spade's a spade. Sorry you have the blinders on. You do you, I'll do me.

No, of course I'm not denying that. But who is the biggest Democrat leader who has come out and made the Hitler comparison? Honestly asking.

You seem to be a bit sensitive to this specific topic. If you don’t want your candidate to be (fairly) compared to Nazis, perhaps don’t support the candidate that can easily be compared to Nazis.

You nutjobs have played that card on every GOP Presidential candidate since at least W.  Did it for McCain and Romney too.  It loses its meaning.

It has never had more meaning than right now. And you support it.

This may seem like reactionary hyperbole, but my wife and I are serious about looking elsewhere for us and our son to live. I have a fantastic career, with a CEO (D) that is great to work for. However, southwest Florida is not…

The best school system/curriculum, super touristy and cost of living is sky high, predominantly republican, and other annoyances. Completely ignoring the fact that abortion didn’t pass (yes I understand our completely fucked up 60% rule for these measures in FL)

Both of us would be terrible teachers, so homeschooling is out of the question. Also, we both heavily believe in the socialization benefits that come from attending public school. However, we have zero desire for him to be a product of this school system.

I could go on and on, but ultimately after this election we’ve realized that the good ol US of A isn’t what it once was. Seeing GenZ move towards the right makes us, as Millenials, now feel like outcasts in our own country. The last gasp of the Baby Boomers… convincing GenZ to think like them. We’ve lost hope that the ship can be course corrected.

There are numerous other countries around the world offering comparable or better standard of living, social benefits, and healthcare, that are more aligned with our beliefs. We aren’t that concerned with climate either (she grew up in the Midwest and now FL, while I was born and raised in La Porte/Kemah area, before spending decent chunks of time in New England and now FL).

It’s obviously a potentially completely life altering move for us, but one we feel is necessary for our son to grow up in a place better than where we are both currently and headed to. We have enough equity in our assets to be able to walk away from all debt with $100,000 in liquid assets to relocate with. I would be able to maintain employment for at least the short term.

What I’m hoping surly can help with, is which of these countries are actually feasible? Has anyone done this before?

grew up in europe and i must warn you that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.   racism is huge over there, even liberals will causally say horrible things. such as never trust a turk or gypsy. and mean it.

on top of that they are dealing with their own far right surge.

not  to mention a lot of the less expensive regions are getting frustrated with "richer" brits and american buying up the local housing and driving up prices and is causing a lot of friction that might boil over soon.

keep in kind that our idea of a home loan doesn't really exist over there as well

Who exactly? Honestly drawing a blank to anyone whose name people might recognize.

You did not see Hillary Clinton compare the MSG rally to the 1939 Nazi rally?

Could he be talking about radical liberal nut jobs like Gen. Mark Milley who said, “No one has ever been as dangerous to this country as Donald Trump … Now I realize he’s a total fascist. He is the most dangerous person to this country.” or libtard Gen. John Kelly who said, “Well, looking at the definition of fascism: It’s a far-right authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy,” and “So certainly, in my experience, those are the kinds of things that he thinks would work better in terms of running America.”

I've lived and worked abroad, multiple countries.  I love it more and more here in the USA the longer I stay.  You have to find your niche and your people.  There are almost limitless options to make a great life.  A lazy buffoon in the WH supported by angry, delusional voters is not going to change that imo.

I did not, thank you. Don't my best to never have to hear about the Clinton's again. How about before that?
