He’s not going to be able to deport 13M people. But he is going to allow MAGATs to make their lives as miserable as possible

Mass deportations is non-negotiable. It is the glue that binds the true believers like myself. Once the forced deportation game is up and running, self-deportations will help relieve the burden.

It's not going to happen.

It’s definitely not going to happen at any scale that he has promised. It would completely wreck the economy. I know Trumpkins don’t give a fuck about human suffering and cruelty but they definitely care about cheap goods and this would explode prices of everything.

Data is funny but at the beginning of Trump’s first term, there were roughly 550k cases of deportation on court dockets.

When he left office, the number was around 1.3mm cases.

Today, it sits at roughly 2.1mm cases.

Don’t see a lot happening with deportation in the next four years. Work to control the influx and let’s go from there. Sorry bro.

Your mind is going to be blown at how effective his 2nd term will be compared to his first. He has a much better team in place and the Resistance is dead.

Your mind is going to be blown at how many of his campaign promises never come to fruition.

You really think the oligarchs are going to let him put us in another Great Recession so shitstains like you can jerk off to unfortunate people’s misery?

Can we talk seriously about this?

Trump’s economy over the first 3 years was fine. It continued a “mostly” positive trend seen during Obama’s first 8 years and leading up to 2020, produced no real signs of issues remotely like we saw in say, 2007.

2020 through 2023 should be thrown out. Nothing that happened within this period of time will remotely repeat itself in our lifetimes, and the effects we’re dealing with today need tremendous leadership to continue to overcome and that’s not going to come solely from the executive branch. We need more effective bipartisan leadership from within congress and the fed.

Have you met icono? These are the people you are inextricably connected to. Read what he wrote. They’ll be coming for you eventually

Holy shit. Icono is just a complete idiot.

Yeah, he actually thought he could change his username, lie about it on multiple occasions, and convince us he's not Icono. Unfortunately for him, his consistent batshittery is too easy to see through.

Yep. I have absolutely no idea what's going to happen in the next 4 years, but I can guarantee that Trump is not going to abandon the military industrial complex. Maybe he'll change where the weapons are being sent based on who made a joke at his expense, but they'll still be moving the merch.

I get it. Doesn’t make me stop trying even if it’s a fault. I’ll die a realist and take all my neg rep with me.

Yeah, we're just gonna stop using our navy to secure global shipping lanes. Because we hate money.

I'd like to see real estate prices come back down to earth.  It seems like higher interest rates didn't do much.  Certainly deporting cheap, skilled labor won't help matters.  I haven't seen much from either side which would bring prices down.  Instead it seemed both sides wanted to lower interest rates and/or give money to first time buyers.  Neither of those would really help imo.

It's not like he can be elected again (well unless, maybe, you know, dictator....) so he doesn't really care what actually gets done.

Many of the things he has said are like build a wall & make Mexico pay for the wall, repeal Obama Care, ban White House officials from lobbying for foreign governments, close down the part of the internet that ISIS uses, triple ICE deportations, end birthright citizenship....I could keep on going but there is no point in doing so.

Would increasing supply work?

Kinda where I’m at. He said whatever would scare the masses into electing him so he wouldn’t go to prison. That said the people surrounding him absolutely want this shit to happen and that is what is concerning.

Honestly, should we just let Ukraine fight its own battles when they were invaded without provocation by an aggressive, dictatorial regime?  Honest question? Is it a "fuck it, that's their problem" approach that would be better?

This, this, this. Trump doesn't care about governing or pushing policy (unless it directly helps him). It comes down to who he appoints, who he listens to, and if they basically can get him to do whatever they want.

The border wall did not bind you, you will do as he says.

That said I do think he will try it.

Exactly what I've been saying.  I don't think he really will care about getting shit done.  Just put me back on the throne, bend the knee, kiss the ring, and I'm fine.

What do you think the rule will be? Obviously, Trump has said first generation natural born Americans can be deported. Do you have to go back six generations to be safe? Is it on one parent’s side or both parents’?
