I still find it hilarious that the Kamala campaign thought that engaging Liz and dick fn Cheney was the play

I raised this about a week before the election and was shouted down here because they thought it proved how bad Trump was that the person they had literally labeled Satan for decades was endorsing Kamala, an endorsement from Satan she warmly accepted.

I get the ad hominem re the source. Do you have any data to support manufacturing COG is not going to increase sharply with new tariffs?

I don't need to go run down data to argue against antifapuddingpops that provided no data nor coherent public policy argument to begin with. If you want to engage in chasing ghosts for the next 2 years go for it. Fucking twitter gonna run through you though.

Oh it’s not going to take 2 years. We have actual contractors here. I’m sure they will keep us apprised of the cost of goods.

These guys were not persuadable in this election IMO.

We're talking tens of millions of people, so this just doesn't make sense.

I have no interest in arguing any counterfactuals about Kamala's campaign specifically, but there is zero reason to not jump at the chance to do Rogan unless you're a sociopath who can't talk to people like a human or your head is so far up your own ass that you think you're too good for it.

It's not even a question that the Democrats need someone who can do that. Anyone who doesn't take advantage of Rogan and Rogan-like opportunities is a waste of our time in terms of major candidates going forward. He is there to set up softball questions and get to know people. He doesn't challenge or try to play hardball.

There's not going to be a different Rogan audience in the future. It's going to be the same one.

Sometimes the enemy of your enemy is not a friend and they are just an empty soul neocon. problem for them is that it is very hard to tell the establishment dems and the neocons apart these days. Enjoy Trump you neocon clowns. Fucking Cheneys, brilliant.

Everybody who knows who Liz Cheney is has known what their vote was going to be for months. Is was a low risk attempt to make Republicans feel okay with jumping ship in this one election. It failed (obviously), but it didn't hurt either.

Kamala's campaign should have know that no one gives a shit about Liz Cheney because anyone who Trump disapproves of is dead to them, but repeatedly giving Republicans too much credit was a theme of their campaign.

But their brains will be four years older and they may have suffered some.

I'm kind of indifferent to whether she did it or not.  I think she would have done fine, she mostly thinks on her feet well.

Joe Rogan’s podcast is a psychological warfare engine, it is specifically designed to create the fact-free, confusing, frustrating miasma that defines the American information space especially for 18-29 males.  It is popular with them not because it offers a productive way to grapple with disappointments or overcome them, but because it serves to validate their anger and confirm their lack of agency in a hostile and unnavigable world.

In healthy information space, it is immediately apparent that the ravings of RFK Jr. are not worthy of the same consideration as the thoughts of a renowned astrophysicist, but the cumulative effect of being a Rogan listener is to come away with a very different feeling.  Not that RFK Jr. is wrong and the physicist right, or even that they have equally valid claims, but instead that it is impossible and pointless to try to adjudicate.

Rogan had clearly been driving the boat more often into the specifically right-wing fever swamp, although the common thread of his show is to elevate the dark and conspiratorial on par with rational and even interesting discourse.  He’s been wildly successful, and his audience has been conditioned to do the opposite of critical thinking.  It’s all just vibes and via a form of reflexive control they will adopt the vibes Rogan is feeling which was always going to be Trumpy this cycle.  He has independently invented and created a medium that closely follows Soviet information warfare doctrine, which is really effective.

At best a standard and mainstream actor like Kamala gains nothing tactically, and at worst it’s harmful among the target audience because they have all been conditioned to reject and distrust anything that appears mainstream.  Strategically, any form of liberal democracy depends on educating future generations to reflexively reject media like Rogan’s.

You don’t, you could just respond to the couple of people involved in the industry that have posted. Or not, either way.

Yes, the answer is always yes. Remember, deflect, disinformation, distract, it’s the way of their world.

Keep trying to box me into arguing against data that doesn't exist. I don't give a fuck about your feels about tariffs. If they are stupid just post data to support that argument, not tweets from antifalickpopsiclesticks. This is not hard.

Trump is a traitor to the country and tried to overthrow the Democratic rule of the United States government. That was the line in the sand for the Cheneys.   The fact you think what you think - means only that you are also supportive of your candidate being a traitor to the constitution and his oath. It doesn’t bother you because you are worthless traitorous scum.

You don’t realize that every post you make makes you look worse - while in your feeble giddy-with-victory brain you think you’re making points.

Start a thread to objectively track it over time instead of arguing with me about clowning on antifapuddingpops.

I had to specifically open this post since I have you on ignore.

If the cost of container duties goes up by $700 to $705 because of some yearly increase or whatever, we increase the cost of the material we are selling by that same amount, PLUS our markup.

If it goes up by $3,000 because of your boy Trump, we increase the cost of the material we are selling that much, PLUS our markup.

I don't think you have the requisite business acumen (and there isn't much required here) to be commenting on this thread.
