Plus, I already posted how California draws their districts and not a single fucking one of you could tell me how that was so fucking unfair.

Fuck you forever Mitch.  You had your chances to impeach him and we wouldn't be in this mess but your majority and power were more important to you.  Now we all suffer because of your selfish choices.

Not just the impeachment. How about not allowing a vote for an empty supreme court justice seat to come before a vote, for a year? I mean, there's a list, but those are the two I'd start with.

But here’s the problem- Weatherford lost their represention on anything other than national issues so the party could deprive the slight minority in Ft Worth of any chance of representation on national issues, precisely so these “views” you care about could “align” to the dominance of Republicans in the state, and THAT is why these leopards can eat faces with impunity.

Oh bullshit.  They still have the state offices.  And the local offices.

And Weatherford/Parker county has been represented by Kay Granger for at least 20 years...

lossless-page1-2880px-Texas_US_Congressi

The federal voting in Parker County is around 60-40.  Still heavily Republican.  So, they're still getting a good amount of the policies that they want.

I lived there for 20 years.  Other than my liberal friends there, they were happy with the representation for the most part.

You're never going to get 100% of what you want.

Ag With Kids will be Ag With Grandkids before he finally finishes shitting in this thread.

We need to split his posts into three other threads to dilute its stench.

California's map looks a whole lot more logical and concise that the Texas one.

Yeah i have people all over the state, and I've spent a lot of time just about everywhere; and that looks pretty fair with how those areas generally vote. VS Texas

I only made 2.

I bought the rest.  You can go to the courthouse, give them money and they make them yours.

It's called adoption...I adopted 7.

Late wife's 3 and her brother's 4.

This is the worst/best pullout game of all time...

Fuck off. You waltzed in here with no intention of staying on topic. Address any one of the posts dealing with Trump voters getting shit upon by the party they voted for and I will engage you.

You're a noxious windbag.

You do realize that the apportionment for federal offices, state offices, and local offices can be different, right?

Then, please explain exactly how you would apportion representation at the federal, state, and local levels without any reference to political parties/policies/platforms as a proxy for the representation.

Is there anything about this that addresses the Trump voters that got fired?

No. It's bullshit to distract from the fact that people that voted for your party are getting their lives turned upside down by a heartless bunch of neo Nazis.

So fuck off

CA congressional representation is 83-17 Democrat.

CA voted 59% Harris, 38% Trump.

I have stayed on topic.  Bozo sucked me in here to discuss gerrymandering and apportionment of districts.  That is the ONLY reason I'm here.

Don't care. I replied to Bozo on that earlier. At this point I just don't give a shit.

We're looking at real fucking damage from the repeated firings. These idiots will probably be suckered into voting against their own interests AGAIN. He could have just as easily replied in the appropriate thread that's easily a dozen pages iirc

I'm fucking pissed off. They are too prideful and ashamed to admit they have been played. They wanted Medicaid to be taken from brown and black people. They wanted to see people getting fired in places full of Democrats. That ain't how it's going is it?

So, there ya go. That's what I am here to discuss. He can stay on topic or keep getting negs.

Y'all we have a gerrymandering thread. I know it's a hard task to stay in focus when someone that said they weren't ever coming back to CR decides to be a distraction, but there's a lot of face eating happening and I would damn sure rather hear about that.

CONGRESS CREATES / PRESENTS THE BUDGET

what is so fucking hard for these people to understand?  There is no big pile of money that is just being "wasted".  Some Park Ranger in Big Bend isn't just tapping into a hidden government bank account to get some free money.

The US reached its all-time production record in 2023.

But we were "energy independent" for about 48 hours under Trump.

And, the growth in clean energy jobs more than made up for any losses in the oil sector.

I know it's fun for us in the peanut gallery to point and laugh, but I would love to see some big names democrats courting farmers to come to their side right now. Talk about how important farming is to this country, it is literally our country's roots. Guarantee strong farming legislation to help ensure all crops are bought and made use of somewhere in the world. Reiterate support for USAID purchases and the common good they provide domestically and abroad. Increase tax breaks for small farms under a certain size, etc etc.

What if they could flip Iowa, Kansas or Nebraska for a few cycles? These sorts of cataclysmic changes in politics can lead to odd realignments, and in this case could result in the Dems becoming the party of Farmers if they try. The Rs are already buying all the big money and corporate votes the can via tax breaks and the dismantling of oversight agencies, might as well use the purse to try and lock up other groups if possible.

95% of farmers are white

96% of farms are led by a "family unit"

64% of farmers are men (surprised it's not 85%+)

the electoral college maps since '48 tell a story but we need to get back to leopard face eating
