I'll be contrary on this one.

The above seems way too extreme to me. Nobody should walk around in fear for their life or have their entire family brought down for an act that doesn't even break the law.

The one event indicates that's she's an awful person and chose to publish her despicable act. She idiotically made herself identifiable. Her name is published. She faces scorn. Good. She should. People can make business choices based on what they know about her, and that's fine, too.

Unleashing the fury of thousands of anonymous people who can threaten anything is terrible. Gleefully wishing her life and family destroyed is crazy. She becomes like the criminals we condemn to horrors in prison and celebrate it.

She's a POS to whom I wouldn't give the time of day. I would not want to witness her terrified or homeless.

It's just that simple. Pos rep.

Nah, she supports the current regime that has thousands of hard working immigrants and their children living in constant fear, and cheering on the destruction of those peoples' lives. In fact, she's participating in the process. I hope only the worst for her and her family. An eye for an eye and whatnot.

You'll note though, that both this guy and the maker of Jack Daniels point not to the tariffs as the problem, but the "disproportionate response" of pulling booze from the shelves.  So even now, it's really Canada's fault.

I'm not going to lose sleep on this one.

Plenty of great liquors out there. I'm not going to miss bourbon.

Shit, look what happened to Bud Light. They even hint at it being Trump's fault and they risk losing 90% of their revenue overnight.

They don't seem very smart. Fluffing Trump and acting like only Canada is being unreasonable just emboldens the dipshit to escalate. Once again cowards are killing themselves with their own cowardice.

Fuck 'em.

This.  They probably voted for trump too.  I have no problem if they lose their businesses and their jobs.  There's plenty of other liquor I can buy from people who aren't bootlickers.

Another dipshit found out.
https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/laid-off-federal-worker-trump-voter-pennsylvania/4124901/?_osource=pa_npd_loc_nat_nbcn_gennbcnews
"I loved doing that job. I loved helping people out and being told that you can’t go to work anymore because you haven’t been there for a year is just kind of horrible. The taxpayer advocate service is already under manned as it is. The case advocates are averaging over 120 cases per person and you're letting everybody go, how does that help the taxpayer?" Smith asked.
When asked by NBC10 political reporter Lauren Mayk if he supported Trump in the last election, Smith hesitated with his answer before ultimately saying that he did.
"Honestly, uh, yeah, I did," Smith said. "I thought, you know, he would be someone that would, you know, cause he talked a lot about taking care of the military, taking care of the veterans, taking care of the people that put him in office and it just hasn't happened so if I could go back in time I would have voted for Vice President Harris in a heartbeat."

If only there had been a sign or something that Trump is a liar and P2025 laid out everything that’s happening. Oh well.

Willful ignorance until it finally affected them. Fuck these bastards.

All they heard/saw was hating immigrants and gays and happily jumped on the train for a second go round.

Victoria and all the surrounding counties are hard core MAGA. Good for them, that entire area is heavily dependent on govt checks

VICTORIA, Texas - The Department of Government Efficiency cuts could mean the closure of the Social Security Administration office in Victoria.

The DOGE website shows the Victoria office is listed under lease terminations.

Uh, I have more than a few older relatives there. None are Republicans in fact one of them olds may or may not have dragged down a large Trump sign with his truck a few years ago.

Well according to the Trump voters who talked to me on this board during the election, Trump was going to restore the days of 2017-2019 and anything else was propaganda and fear mongering. The fact that we got by 2017-2019 in decently good shape was because the institutions just barely held his stupid ideas at bay didn't seem to sink in.

No strong institutions now. The freak flag will sly. Granted even I, who anticipated Trump's return was going to be a national catastrophe, am sort of taken aback by just how much he is able to get away with. The propaganda and fear mongering clearly understated the threat.

Six months ago, I completely would have agreed with your take.  You're entirely correct that social-media retribution often is disproportionate to the crime.
Today, however, I'm perfectly happy about what's happening to her.  She's a wretched human being.  She's being harmed because she harmed someone else.  She'd harm you, too, if you ever came into contact with her because she loves "lib tears."  With her compatriots, she is actively trying to destroy my country.  Fuck her--I hope her life becomes so intolerable that she puts a bullet in her brain.  Bonus points if she murders her husband on the way out, taking two Trump votes off the rolls.

This is also the way.

Fight back. Fight hate with hate, pain with pain. We didn’t convince hateful fascists to change their ways in the 1940’s with thoughtful policy discussions. We had to hurt them until they cried uncle.

Hurt these people. Every bit of their pain gets us one step closer to possibly arresting pro horrific slide.

In another time and place, maybe it'd be an interesting conversation what sorts of social responses to anti-social behavior are insufficient, which are acceptable, and which are overkill.

Here and now? Fuck that. If that wretched shrew and her husband both got ebola I'd laugh. So long as we haven't progressed to an actual Maoist social revolution, we're still well within the bounds of an acceptable reaction.

There was some discussion on the Interwebs that the thing that set off the realtor was that their server told them they could not use double coupons on the same meal.

Naturally, you stiff the server and seek to deport him. If true and all, but that does sound like essence of Karen

This is the problem with all of this shit. A plurality of voters checked the box for the orange shitgibbon and now all of us are getting hit by his far flung poo. Even the ones who knew better.

When it all burns, it ALL burns. Not just the part that deserves it. I think that’s pretty much the basis of the thread, no? We’re all being burnt but while we’re on fire we can take some schadenfreude in those who thought only their enemies would burn.

One solace is those that voted for this shit did nothing to prepare for the shit storm that is unfolding.  We will all be harmed to some degree, but at least those of us that took at least some precautions might be burned a little less.

That bitch wanted to deport a disabled man working two jobs to feed his family because, I guess, the Mexican restaurant cost too much.

And then you see some clients posting who said during their home walk-through she told them “don’t be eating your neighbor’s pets yuck yuck”.

She is a complete piece of shit and human scum.    One of the very few things that will keep similar assholes from displaying the racism that they so deeply want to express is the fact that the harsh consequences of that may be greater than the joy of expressing their racism.  The harsher the lesson the more widespread that education will be seen by other like-minded racists.

NEVER advocate that a person who fucks around should be excused from the finding out part.

As new facts have come to my attention, I retract my moment of embarrassing softness. She has aligned herself with enemies and destroyers of the republic who embrace cruelty as acidic dressing to their every action. Empathy beyond their immediate family is unknown to them. They deserve little from me.

She and her kind are nothing to me. Forgive my lapse. Thanks for straightening me out.

Written without irony.

Tariffs will absolutely obliterate that industry.  They export so much bourbon around the world.  And from what I've read, they are already looking at a glut of product in the next couple of years without the tariffs.

My grandmother ate sausage, eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy almost every breakfast.  She also choked down two packs of ciggies a day for lord knows how many years.  She lived to 92 and won the shot put at her nursing home's "Olympics" two weeks before kicking it in.

I'm willing to bet that some real degenerate gamblers must work at that place.
