I'd have a sit-down with my advisor and say, "Look, if you're unable to provide unbiased financial advice based on what's actually going on instead of putting your partisan head in the sand, I'll take my business elsewhere."

My guys like Trump - like most in that cesspool space, but knew early on it was gonna be very rocky.  Pulled me out and have me in a 9% product that has averaged 9% for a long time...I was always in that product but not 90% in.  Even through the mess last few months it keeps checking off 8.5-9.5.  Anyways, I think most of those guys are useless but my clowns did come through, this once.  And they 100% thought some serious bullshit was coming down the pike as soon as dipshit was elected.

On the one hand, they like him, but they steered your bets against him or at least protected against him. So, ultimately, they did their job, I suppose, but what explains cognitive dissonance other than knee-jerk support for a Republican? Given your wealth, I'm sure you have the sway to tell them to their faces they're fucking idiots.

I missed this happy note. DHL was only suing Lindell for $700K.  Pillow Dipshit owes $9,000,000.00 to FedEx.

Mike is probably wondering about now how much crack he could buy with that. Trump used and discarded him.  Surprise!!

LOL, it's a put strategy by JPM - I highly doubt JPM has their HNW clients in a ponzi.

That’s exactly what JPM wants you to think!

Same here. They know to miss me with that nonsense now though.

I've posted several screenshots here of me telling many of them they're idiots.  I'm also not gonna go over the top until a lot more of my net worth is liquid and not tied to my company that Cantor of all people is signed on to sell.  But I enjoy working and still see patients because I enjoy it, so it can all go away and I'm fine.  Which is probably why I talk any shit at all, unlike most who keep their mouth shut.  I also have no kids by design and basically no will.  It's all going to the govt and charity at some point anyway, and I'm fine living like that.  I've had many tell me I'm a weird MF but that's probably why I fit in well around here.

Got a couple new ones now, but yes...keep the beater RR in Chicago.  Lessons learned.

And his Tiffany Patek.

Was an RM and they found it 2 years later, lol.  Chubb lets you buy it back at auction and I picked it off for dirt cheap since I'm the only one with box and papers.  They also let you keep entire amount they paid you out on.  Better to be lucky than good...

Usually the first person who buys it hot is told do NOT take it to the dealer.  Well when THAT person sells it, they usually don't say shit and some poor shmuck takes it back to the dealer and they run the serial on every one they service.  If it pops up stolen they keep it and that bastard loses all his money.  That's what happened here, and it's not uncommon at all per the cops and AD.

Having the box and papers makes all the difference? Who gives a shit about having the box?

Makes a big difference.  On a 150k watch original box is worth a few grand.  Papers may be worth 1/3 of the watch.  As in buying it ‘naked’ loses at least 1/3 of the value.  High end watches come with all kinds of shit as ‘the box’.  Missing it all costs you thousands.

Thankfully, I kept the papers for my watch.  I'm not gonna toss something worth a cool $9.75.

Oh. I didn’t realize it was 10x the cost of my best watch. I’m out of my element here. Carry on!

Of course the downside now is that you might actually wear a Richard Mille.

For only 10X the price of your best watch you too can wear something that looks like a Swatch collaboration with Liberace.

My wife bought me a Rolex years ago, during one of her overseas trips, it looks pretty nice when I wore it.
Alas, she got it on a trip to Singapore and it only worked for a couple of weeks. What a waste of $20.

Wait why did you have to go through the process of auction for a watch you owned?

They had already paid out 450k - I paid a lot less but get all my stuff reinsured annually.

Then prices crashed a couple years later and at auction it was 100ish with no box and papers.  I got it back and sold it.

The AD watch stores hate it when you sell but I disclosed it all to them and insurance.  The watch company didn’t care as I told them I don’t feel like wearing something with that bad juju.

As for insurance…That’s their policy and why you overpay for Chubb.
