The Leopards Eating Faces and Unlubed Dildo of Consequences Thread

We must remember that a person's ability to read and retain information doesn't make them a critical thinker. I think that is a mistake we make on a daily basis in this country. I know a lot of people who got good grades through school because of memorization. The smartest guy was the guy who could find the answer to the math problem using some backwards method that the teacher wouldn't accept as "showing your work".

The guy who said it to Elon Musk in a Fortnite match said it better.

I'm not going to be able to be nice about all of these too-late-realizations and if-we'd-only-knowns.

If you didn't know this shit was coming, you weren't paying attention, because he was yelling it from the rooftops.  If you weren't listening, you shouldn't have voted.

This is on you, and there's no amount of self-awareness now that will change it.  You don't get any partial credit or redemption for realizing you've been hoodwinked two months after you gave this con the keys to the country, again, you unbelievably stupid shits.

The only thing you can do to atone now is to never, ever vote or have sex again.  I am completely serious.

Fuck em. I hope they feel all of the consequences. I have no pity

Also, never ever voice any opinion on anything political so as not to poison any other person.

The good news is that the woman who penned the "Who knew MAGA was so racist" is undoubtedly now receiving 1000x more racism after the article was published. I imagine her inbox is basically just death threats from MAGA at this point.

Oh well.

Good. I hope she lives in fear and has daily anxiety attacks over it 🤷🏽‍♂️

Dumb motherfuckers. For real, how did this happen?  How are people not only this misinformed, but so incurious that they didn’t take 10 seconds to look into the person they were going to vote for?  They clearly cared enough to actually get out and vote. Did they just see one tweet or one Facebook post and decide that was it?  I can’t fathom it.

The erosion of our public education system over several decades combined with abject laziness by millions of our fellow citizens in even marginally attempting to educate themselves on the world around them will give a partial reason for where we are at. Throw in people’s addiction to 10 second sound bites that double as news/blatant misinformation and you will get the rest of the way to this current reality. It’s easier to believe a lie that confirms your bias versus actually taking time to read things based on fact, reason and logic.

Just remember, the same people who thought algebra was hard will spend 10 minutes googling something and convince themselves they are an expert on a new subject matter.

Well, what do you know?  Robbinsville BAPS temple, eh?  I know a little something about that.

It's obvious to me Kiran and her lovely family just cared about the tax breaks.  Well, guess what, sweetheart.  You'll get them anyway, and the MAGAts will hate you but all that slave labor got you a Mercedes.  Hearing how you're a nice person isn't in the cards.

Unless I missed something, I don't think that girl/her family had anything to do with the temple.  They just visited and took family pics there.  I went there last summer since I live pretty close, and have no relation to Hinduism or slave labor.

I think you missed something.

She is a very aware person (and Yale!).  In the news industry.

She went to a place that was pretty common knowledge in NJ and eastern PA to have used slave labor.

She either didn't think there was something wrong with slave labor or didn't mind taking a photo with her family in front of the place. She could have posted a photo with them on the back patio.  Some photo ops seem bad, like getting a photo at Arlington with the thumbs up in front of a soldier's grave. Or a photo hanging with Jeffery Epstein.  I guess BAPS seems OK, in theory:

Maybe those slaves were actually volunteers, like it says above.  Just someone forgot to tell them.

Says her grandfather voted for Trump, you know, the guy destroying our democracy.  Seems like a bad move, but what do I know?

She complains that most of Trump's base doesn't like Indians.  Now, we all know why MAGAts don't like Indians.  But MAGATs are also OK with slave labor in certain contexts.

She complains in print about the racism.

Did I miss something?

Yup. This was me the day after the election:

Voting for him the first time was stupid, but somewhat understandable. Voting for him the second time was inexcusable, but he still wasn't just openly Hitler. He ran as just openly Hitler this time and won the fucking popular vote. Everyone who voted for him should burn in hell.

Hell is Dinesh coming over and taking the jerb they were never qualified for in the first place.   Hell is coming right here on earth for them.  Love it.  Hope these leopards have a healthy appetite.  No GLP-1’s for the fuckers.

Yeah, you don't need to tell me more about BAPS Robbinsville...like I said, I live like 25 minutes away from it. And it most definitely wasn't common knowledge here. Now for all the stuff about her family voting for Trump and complaining about the racism, yeah, they can go fuck themselves. But everyone takes photos of themselves there and pretty much everyone is blissfully unaware about the lawsuit.

My MIL is the head of controversy for a major company, she is the person who talks to the IRS for the corporation and is smart as a whip.

She fucking falls for Facebook scams and disinformation like nobody's business. She's got multiple masters degrees and a CPA and is incredibly intelligent, but she is frighteningly prone to recency bias and believing something if enough of her friends say it to her so.

And then when her facts are proven to be wrong, rather than admit it, she just says "well I don't think that's right" and moves on and changed the subject. It drives my wife crazy, and it's shocking how many businesses executives like that I come across in a completely different industry and line of work from my MIL.

Yeah it really isn't about education at all.

The dumbfucks and morons have always been there.

What is different is that they never had someone riling them up with stupid and bigoted shit. No one's had the gall and lack of shame of Trump since probably the segregationist days and even they were more serious people than Trump.

They have always been engaged on an actual quasi political level, which doesn't often get them off the couch.

Nor did they have sources of pseudo information cloaking it all with some form of legitimacy. If no other way than by repetition and acceptance by other morons.

This.  If there's one thing you have to give Trump is that he's very open about his fascism.  It's not like he tries to hide it from the public.

It's kind of like the NBA draft. You know what you're getting with the 23 year old 4 year college player, but you end up drafting the 19 year old from France because of what he might be. Sometimes it works out, other times it's a bust.

Played by their own stupidity and anger at wanting to punish Biden and Harris. But hey, they bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into.
