Florida tackling our guys from behind or blatantly holding...no penalty. No Texas holding goes unnoticed, ever. Florida with the most obvious PI...no penalty.

Up by 40 in the SEC, especially as a newcomer, you were going to get no calls.

aw shit, they scored. Seasons over.

It's a sing of bad tidings is all...we are seeing the unbalanced reffing, the way the first string defense is getting their shit pushed in on the ground.

so are other teams...it's something we should at least show some concern about.

Probably the worst the Texas run defense has looked all year. Florida is completely neutered throwing the ball so it doesn't matter, but I hope there is some hard coaching in the film room tomorrow despite the big win.

Pleased to see some progress in opening up the offense though.

I hope their OCs think this way as well.

If they're a good team they'll be able to.  Been that way most the year...only 1 Demensional teams will be in trouble.

We won't have to really worry about it till the playoffs but it'll be a problem.

Both backs for Florida are averaging 5 & 6 yards a carry

Yeah because they're racking up garbage yardage now and are completely incapable of throwing the ball. Who gives a fuck. This game was over at halftime.

I’m so sick and fucking tired of getting bent over by these refs. Florida’s RBs are allowed to bounce inside runs outside with impunity because they NEVER get called for obvious holds on the outside even when their OL/TE/WR is in absolutely shit position to legally seal. Texas RBs have tried that 3 times today and been called for holds on 2 of them. It’s an absolute fucking joke.

What sucks is that it gives arky a blueprint on how to attack the D.

Yeah. Once we get up by 5 touchdowns and sub out our starters teams will be  able to gash us!

Just running it would be pretty one dimensional

Wonder why PK hates Gbenda all the sudden? Less and less snaps as the season progresses.

Lefau is just better instinctually better. Can't blame him. He can play all over and is a tackling machine. Gbemda, while serviceable, misses gap assignments.

The same blueprint everyone else has used?

Not everyone...well they couldn't because they either turned the ball over to Texas or texas poured it on.

If a team isn't doing that a lot, they can really hurt us, see Vandy and/or Georgai(who didn't run all the great but took advantage of short fields and texas turnovers)

It's been there all year.  We can be run on.  But you can't turn it over or teams can't keep up.

I don’t remember giving up so many 5 yard chunks in one game this year other than Georgia. Hopefully it’s because we’re taking an easy and that Florida’s RBs are very underrated.

Opponents with a strong running game will probably keep giving us trouble. We don't currently have the personnel or scheme to stop them. Then again, I'm not sure how much we care when our offense is humming along. Those grind-it-out drives aren't fast enough to keep up with Sark's passing attack. It's only when we're struggling score points that it matters much.

This was a terrible game plan by Napier.  They should have run it way more than they did.  Throwing it in the red zone early in the game was stupid.

Well yeah, like MIchigan couldn't do it...but a team with an actual QB could definitely take advantage.

I’m optimistic that’s all it is. However, letting up even with a big lead is a separate problem. I hate turtling, even situationally. I think it’s too hard to distinguish when it’s okay, versus when you should still have your foot on the gas.

He's great when he makes the right play, but he's boneheaded with poor run fits. He often shoots the wrong gap and get's needlessly tied up with OL and gives up runs. Leona Lefau has developed and makes smart plays.
