Had the heads up on local butter biscuit becoming HUD Secretary. He’s everything you would not want to lead HUD in a housing crisis. He an anathema within the black community.

Care to expand? I'm in affordable housing by trade; not familiar with him and not really sure what to make of it.

I figure time spent working with a large multifamily builder might signal some understanding of the development process and willingness to take action at HUD to encourage streamlining of development processes around the country, which would legitimately be welcomed. Of course, he has two years with a fluffy, bullshit, do-nothing title so that could also just take the shape of handouts to large developers and lack of enforcement on bad actor Section 8 landlords and the like.

And the rest of his resume - TX House member, other bullshit "chief vision officer" type jobs tells me it's just a place to stick someone whose political profile they want to raise, which is unfortunately what HUD has been for a while.

Is this the fulcrum of human history.

After this it’s all been downhill.

Not because this was the peak of human achievement.

But due to the hubris of producing this abomination.

How could mortal beings flaunt their disdain for the majesty of creation with a display so repellent that one questions the existence of a creator.

We live in a simulation due to the higher consciousness realizing we are beyond salvageable and that destruction would be far too humane a punishment.

Nah Creed is a multicultural phenomenon transcending the whims of mere mortals.

(side note I happened to be at this game, The Mets had something like 28 fucking hits.....but this was the most surprising and entertaining part)

Trump bitching about how long it takes to go to court is overlooked in these vids.

The they ever define what were grounds to seize weapons?

Trump bitching about the length of time for due process is quite the chef’s kiss of ‘rules for thee. Not for me’

I guess it goes without saying that putting a billionaire like Musk, who owns or controls several major enterprises regulated by the federal government, in charge of government downsizing is a conflict of interest. Like, it's such a huge conflict of interest it's practically the definition of a conflict of interest. I'm going to say it anyway, even though I know expecting anything from this administration to be ethical or fair or even bound by the rule of law is futile.

Yall gonna learn to love that narrow definition of treason.

Pretty sure the current Supreme Court will consider the President executing "traitors," even without a trial, an official act for which Trump will enjoy immunity.  What could go wrong, huh?  I'm sure those posthumous acquittals will make the families happy, though.

I’d lament that, but the rules were set a while back, by the MAGA movement. They were perfectly happy with this sort of shit against the opposition. Don’t want shit to be that way? They shouldn’t have made it that way. Zero tears shed for them. The chose a republic that operated by rule of the gun instead of the rule of law. Pretty hypocritical to whine about the gun being pointed back at them.

This board had been long overdue for a “Leftist Extremist Violence Thread”.

It really has been.
MAGA wants to burn it all down, and settle everything by brute force and power. They should get exactly what they want, and have been practicing.
You can’t burn it all down if half the people are trying to douse the flames. Fuck that shit, matches and kerosene for everyone. Fuck this pussyfooting around shit.
Nobody gave a shit when it was the right doing it, I presume we shouldn’t give a shit when the left does it. Seems that everyone is gonna play by the new rules now. Okay then. Play on.
