And we got this going for us - they are still finding Anthrax at WWII sites in China formerly run by Japan's Unit 731. Thankfully most of this stuff was destroyed during or right after the war.

So what do I use for my White Russians, mister smartypants?

Bespoke, organic, fairtrade vanilla almond milk.

And with respect, I'll say you're going a bit hard on milk.  Medieval northern Europeans would not have survived the winter without fresh milk.  Very difficult to get all the nutrients they needed without it.  No fresh fruit, limited vegetables, etc.

And I've read white folks have higher lactose tolerance than others because of it.  A lactose-intolerant baby back then did not survive long.  Major selection pressure.

Oh, no arguments, I consume way too many dairy products, while having a lactose-intolerant family member in our household, but I think the raw milk crowd should at least acknowledge that we need every bit of help we can get with milk - obvious they are lactose-tolerant, but getting sick from tainted  raw milk is no joke, even with modern medicine,

Of course, that’s why it won’t be popping up in HEB in large numbers, if at all.

There are many options for lactose intolerant folks, such as lactose-free ultrapasteurized milk from brands like Fairlife.  It has less sugar, more protein, no lactose, and real cow milk.   Raw milk drinkers are dumb mother fuckers, and I say this as someone who grew up with dairy cows and drank fresh milk most days.   Much like anti-vaxxers, crystal healers, and conspiracy theorists in general, this is more about dumbasses making a feeble attempt to exert some false sense of agency rather than acknowledge how low on the societal rung they exist.

The positive news is that this recent political trend of mistaking liberty with the right to do stupid shit that can kill you, and others, will thin the herd and possibly stave off the Idiocracyesque future we're hurtling towards.  So take that ivermectin and slam another glass of raw milk, everyone.  You might take some innocents with you but also spare humanity from your potential future offspring.

Agreed

I love milk.  Go through 2.5 gal a week.  It’s a great carrier for the different protein suppliments I talk.  Also I’ve never broken a bone in my life, despite my best efforts.  Calcium is awesome.

So much fucking this.  Every "reason" they try to spit out is just a pretext covering for this underlying motivation -- for the raw milk and everything else you mentioned.

What was it, one million dead in the US due to covid? And we learned nothing, got stupider as a nation.

I think we can do better next go round. How does 10 million sound?

10 million?  From bird flu?  Started by transmission thru raw milk because we have a mad case of oppositional defiance disorder?

According to my MAGAT sister there is no such thing as Covid, only the flu.  All deaths attributed to Covid were actually due to other causes.   Im the primarily care giver for my 94 year old mother.  About six months ago she got sick and tested positive for Covid.  I texted my three siblings to let them know she was sick and had tested positive for Covid.  My MAGAT sister immediately texted back that she just had the flu.  There is no fact, or argument, that will sway these people.

Which is why I think 10 million is more than doable.

Also, sorry about your mother (and your sister).

Some family members just aren't worth talking to.  I can tolerate differing political opinions but draw the line at stupid no matter where it's directed.  There are no MAGA lovers in my family, but we've got some stupid folks.  I'm not talking about being born with a low IQ and can't help themselves but rather willfully ignorant half-humans.
