This whole "War on Christmas" propaganda always reminds me that is likely no human on Planet Earth more arrogant, ignorant, and intolerant ... with their faith and feelings perpetually being hurt .... than the typical American Christian Bible Thumper.

because Christian and American ideals come with the notion of exceptionalism. inferior people believe they are superior because both their country and religion profess to be exceptional, therefore they are superior to most people on earth. kinda hard to reason beyond that line of thinking when most people just take that information carte blanche and run with it

Listened to a slew of Christmas carols this week. You know what I noticed? Christians seem to be really into Jesus as a baby and Jesus as a martyr.  All that stuff in the middle where he treated outcasts and the downtrodden with love and knocked over power structures that favored the rich over the poor and did some pretty radical things? They don't seem to be as impressed by all that.

It's not a 'carol' per se, but this is one of my favorite Christmas songs

Based on the poem by Howard Thurman:

Quote

When the song of the angels is stilled,

when the star in the sky is gone,

when the kings and princes are home,

when the shepherds are back with their flocks,

the work of Christmas begins:

to find the lost,

to heal the broken,

to feed the hungry,

to release the prisoner,

to rebuild the nations,

to bring peace among the people,

to make music in the heart.

Sounds like some libtard shit.

Jesus was born with an AR-15 in his hand, ready to shoot dirty immigrants.  I don't know what Bible you read, but it's probably a commie one.
