House passes first set of dictatorial powers

Recommended Posts

Today, the House passed a bill allowing the President to wipe out any nonprofit organization he opposes. The Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act (HR 9495) gives the treasury the power to strip non-profits it claims to support “terrorism” of their tax-exempt status. It does not require the treasury to adhere to any evidentiary standard when reaching its findings.  I'm sure we can all imagine which type of organizations will be targeted by the dear cult leader under this act.

I don't want to dox anyone, but I'm VERY close to somebody that works for a specific charity...a Jewish org that does a lot of work with refugees from all over.  She is terrified of this. This org is housing and feeding needy people.  That's it.  Feeding and housing people that need food and housing.   Kind of like that fucking hippie in the Trump/Lee Greenwood bible.

Yes, 15 Democrats voted for this abortion, including Texas’ own late great representative that failed to unseat Rafael
