OK, just checking.

Sark would tell you the 17 point win and the 85-yard push their faces down in the mud and make them eat it drive was good for the team.  I take some issue with the notion but that's what you're gonna get from the company line.

Yep. Exactly this.

I guess what else should we expect from a dude raised in Southlake that probably never had to overcome any adversity in his life.

Let's not pretend Arch Manning was raised in South Dallas. Or really 90 percent of D1 QBs.

C'mon man.  The dude is a Longhorn and did as much to jumpstart this program as anyone.  Chill out.

That's why I worry not Sarge. It's meant to be my friend!

No prob.  I'm from Garland and am trained to be jealous of any legit team and fanbase.

Texas has played 10 games this year. In at least 7 of those games, the opposing QB has been absolute dog shit, yet every week the game thread reads like the Horns are trotting Tyrone Swoopes out there. You guys are a bunch of insufferable pricks.

That's Mr. Insufferable Pricks to you, sir.

I thought we played a good game. Next week though I think the Quinn and the skill-position players shouldn't start drinking in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah coach shoulda pulled Quinn there. Once he was hobbled he was going downhill pretty quick.

Yes, but it's a 100 year decision.

Did this already happen or is Sark hiding because he doesn't want to answer any questions about keeping Quinn out there? Edit: NVM, the asshole is on now.

so is it just illegal to call PI for us when the game is still in doubt?  Holy Fuck what bullshit.

Yeah, i was at the game but it seems like there were a couple really bad missed calls.

Sark has the look of defeat in the presser. I wonder if Quinn is more injured than we think.

If he is MORE injured than we think it's really crazy he stayed in the game.

Yep. But stubborn is stubborn

The reality is that it unlikely has anything to do with Quinn.  He likely hasn't been evaluated much further than whatever was done in game at this point.

Yeah, and?  Also, if those posting on the game threads are complaining about the QB, then I would say there’s some suffering.  So let’s call us sufferable pricks.

I know I wish that Georgia game didn't exist, but unfortunately we've played 11 games

Makuba has been solid this year

Championship D again.  one drive for 70+ yards for TD the whole game.    If our O and Interesting teams can stop stepping on their dicks we might be somebody.

Here's the thing.  ARCH.

Posted

Thing is, Ewers toughing it out does nothing for the team.  It makes him, possibly, more unreliable next Sat AND keeps Arch from getting some important game reps.  Are we under the impression that Sark left him in to avoid a possible controversy if Arch did really well?  I'm just kind of confused.  Could be the bourbon.

I think it has to do with experience and that's it.

Got it, apologies.

All good.  At the RRR, some youngster made a comment about Sark drinking and I thought this older UT alum was going to beat his ass.  Kid didn't yell the rest of the game.

I think Sark's approach in 2nd half was to play it safe and go with experience even if hurt. And he was correct. The team fumbling thrice in the 3rd quarter was the head scratcher.

Nothing earth shattering and minimal Quinn injury talk at all, just said a “tight” ankle.  He does these great and calms my fears some. Great Wisner talk and about running because it was working and what we could do good at the time.  I understand the theory but that easily could have backfired with a couple stops on that drive, a couple bad bounces before and the defense not playing absolutely lights out.  You can’t just send a qb out there if you know they are limited on moving and passing and be like we can just run and it work every time.
