5.5 point line is a lot closer than I thought.

I think they are giving aggy a touchdown on homefield advantage alone. What's that? We already went into the big house in front of 107,000 screaming wolverines that hated us and beat the shit out of them? Well, 107,000 screaming wolverines is only half as effective as 75,000 screaming ags stupid sip.

Can’t speak to other schools but we did it in 95-96 when we won the last SWC championship and the first B12 conference championship.

Thus far, texas has won every conference on its way out, and also won every conference its joined in the first year. Texas also has won its first game in every conference its joined, and also the last game in every conference it has left.

Michigan was a cool atmosphere (I was there) but it's not going to be anything like this Saturday night.

OHHHHHHH oops.

Yeah, it was OL Stan Thomas who was the big mouth. Richard had some comments too (mostly replying to Miami) but it was Thomas who really fired em up.

I stand corrected

Stanley Richards only "sin" was that he had styled himself as "The Sheriff" all season and so.....

Ladies and gentlemen, members of Longhorn Nation,

It is my duty and privilege to type before you today, as the proud spirit of the Forty Acres summons us once more to the field of valor. Across the plains of Texas, there lies a rival—an ancient foe—who dares challenge the burnt orange banner. Yes, I speak aft.

Let us not mince words, for we are not gathered here to exchange pleasantries or to entertain illusions of equality. We are here to proclaim, with every ounce of resolve and every fiber of our being, that The University of Texas shall march forth to victory, leaving no doubt in the hearts of men, women, and weirdo aggy alike.

What do they have? A dog? A sheepish yell? A tradition of misplaced enthusiasm for all things mediocrity? They may revel in their midnight yells and choreographed rituals, but we have something far greater—brains, brawn, and an unshakable belief in our destiny. For where they waver, we rise. Where they falter, we soar. Where they cling to delusions, we forge an unrelenting future.

We shall not be intimidated by their maroon-clad posturing. We shall not yield to their agricultural arithmetic or their boasts of bygone days. Instead, we shall meet them on the gridiron with the ferocity of Bevo himself. We shall drive them back, yard by yard, goal by goal, until their spirit is shattered and their resolve is broken.

We shall fight in the trenches, we shall fight through the air, we shall fight with precision and purpose, and we shall emerge victorious. We shall leave Kyle Field knowing that the might of the Longhorns is unparalleled, our spirit unyielding, our triumph inevitable.

Let them come with their fake army and their chants, their pride and their pretenses. For every aggy who steps forward, a Longhorn shall rise to meet them. We shall drown out their whoops with the resounding roar of “Texas Fight!” and silence their voices with the thunder of our victory.

So let aggy hear this, loud and clear: we are Texas. We are the champions of this great state, the standard-bearers of excellence, the embodiment of triumph. And when the final whistle blows, it shall not be they who celebrate beneath the Texas sky. It shall be us—the Longhorns—standing tall, our heads held high, and our horns raised in glorious victory.

Now, onward to the battle, my friends, and let history record that on this coming day, Texas stood mighty, Texas stood proud, and Texas went in dry on aggregate.

I hope they get to play both. Ewers through the middle of the 3rd and Arch in garbage time because we are kicking their ass. All year I have wanted to catch Sark on camera saying hey 3 star you are in let them know they were wrong and keep pounding aggy.

-5.5 seems like the right number; I was very surprised to see it open at -7.5....I was expecting -4.5

Interested to see where the final action nets out, as I think the normies will probably overlook the two most significant aspects of this matchup: The exceptional ability of the Texas defense and the abject suckassedness of Ewers.

I don't particularly like the spread on either side, but am very intrigued by adjusted-line UNDER.... Something like U44.5 looks most appealing, and currently nets +140.  I expect Sark to be conservative and leverage max running game to help conceal the stench of Quinn's pussy....while Elko will likely play not to lose and end up forfeiting any chance at explosive plays.

For those reasons, I can see Aggy staying in striking distance all the way through 4Q before having a desperation turnover on downs, which may enable Texas to backdoor cover with an add-on TD in final minutes...but seems like a coin flip either way.
