Its so fucking clear that aggy values this game more than we do. They are nothing without us. Even their ticket prices for this game say so. Next year, ticket prices will be half of what they are this year

Don't kid yourself.  If this game was in Austin this year the prices would be out of control as well.  It's the combo of rivalry renewal bump (it would be an expensive ticket if both teams were 7-4) combined with play in for the SEC championship game.  No doubt plenty of Texas fan demand keeping prices high.  Of course it will be cheaper next year because you don't have the 13 year gap novelty.

You are really committed to making everyone believe this is most biggestest importantest game ever. I commend your tenacity.

I follow ticket markets as somewhat of a hobby.  This has been consistently hot ticket since game was announced when people assumed it wouldn't be a meaningful game.  I actually think ticket prices would be higher if in Austin this year because a lot more hotel inventory.  Ticket prices were plenty high for UGA but I think probably depressed by 25% at least simply because there was hardly any hotel inventory (and hotel prices 200%+ of typical game weekend) with F1 in town. UGA would have traveled plenty more with a normal hotel situation.

I wish the professional ticket broker that used to post here still posted as pretty sure he would verify.  I bet they loaded up with extra aggy season tix year to profit on this game.  I think get in would be over $300 even if nothing at all was on the line and both teams were average.  People underestimate novelty impact on ticket pricing and starting up game after 13 year drought was obviously going to increase demand.

aggy sold 56k season tix last year and this year

i would be curious to know how many didn't renew from last year

I'm betting there will be a meaningful drop off after this year as professionals tapped in to profit off the ND, LSU and Texas games.  3 games with guaranteed profit.

this right here
we win the intertrons
the first html browser (mosaic) was released in september 93 but it was not a commercial product and accessible to less than 100 aggy so there were no intertrons to win
aggy won in austin 5 november 94
netscape was released 15 december 94
1995 was the first year aggy could compete for intertrons
including 1995, our record v. aggy is 12-5
thus, and therefore, abracadabra

the SEC Network morning show dweebs sucking aggy cock. Do they realize the fans in stands do not actually play in the game? Ask ND

As I said in this thread earlier, the majority of media who are picking A&M aren’t picking them based on better personnel or coaching. They are picking A&M based on crowd noise and atmosphere.

. expect us to kick their ass.  But momentum is huge in a night game senior night final in Aggieland.  So we need to stay focused.  Your destiny is in your hands boys!  Now go fucking kick ass and TAKE what's yours!

It's been a busy Thanksgiving week, so I'm just now catching up on this thread. But, NSIAP, this feels like a good time to remind everyone that it is actually not their senior night. Those pussies moved it to their second to last home game, vs New Mexico St, instead of having it against us during the last home game of the year.

The Texas vs aggy game has historically been in Austin for even-numbered years, too, but aggy HAD to host our first game in the SEC.

I think Gil is lying. He's just saying that to avoid suspicion in the event Liucci has an unfortunate accident...

Is this meeting with the UT-ROTC a thing or is Sark trolling aggy here?

Probably real, similar to what we started in UT NROTC in the 80s, with an annual relay run from Austin to Dallas to deliver the game ball for TX - ou.

Remember those Friday 10:00 a.m. games?

And the Cotton Bowl also used to kick off at 10 for a few years. In 1998 our last two games of the season kicked off at that time; I wonder if we’re the only team in history to ever play consecutive 10AM games…

I'm fine with the since WW2 stat for a lot of cfb stuff. And - would you look at that - it basically gives you the same win%.

Everything else is aggy at their finest.

It should really be post integration, like all other sports. Which isn’t a fixed date, but 1970 or so (for us, obviously).

Um. What sport uses post integration as a cutoff? If MLB uses it it isn't the most common cutoff I've seen. NFL uses super bowl era if they do a cutoff. NBA usually does pre/post merger. College basketball uses tournament era. Golf is pre and post Masters.

I’m saying it should be that way.

I still think prices take a meaningful dip over the course of the day tomorrow for anyone on the fence.  Hold firm - would be great to have a good TX crowd.

I’m holding but it’s not the ticket prices. It’s the midnight drive back to Houston with 60,000 other people.

I been in College Station all day, not much burnt orange. Mildly depressing atmosphere.

Unless you’re flying in from out of state for the game, assuming IAH, I’d still stay in The Woodlands, Conroe or NW of Katy and not give B/CS a dime, but I digress. Most UT fans will be in/out for the game and not linger afterwards.

Brutal.  Not missing that at all.

So, anyone know if we're getting T+1 back anytime soon?

Sure hope not.  Thanksgiving is the tradition, T+1 is just another day so I'd rather it just be on Saturday if it's not going to be on Thanksgiving night (and, since the NFL decided to play a game on Thanksgiving night, I don't see that one ever coming back anyway).

Definitely doesn't even rank anywhere close in the biggest game in Texas history LMFAO

aggy sphincters will be contracting by the minute if that's what they've been telling the players all week.
