Ladies and gentlemen, members of Longhorn Nation,

It is my duty and privilege to type before you today, as the proud spirit of the Forty Acres summons us once more to the field of valor. Across the plains of Texas, there lies a rival—an ancient foe—who dares challenge the burnt orange banner. Yes, I speak aft.

Let us not mince words, for we are not gathered here to exchange pleasantries or to entertain illusions of equality. We are here to proclaim, with every ounce of resolve and every fiber of our being, that The University of Texas shall march forth to victory, leaving no doubt in the hearts of men, women, and weirdo aggy alike.

What do they have? A dog? A sheepish yell? A tradition of misplaced enthusiasm for all things mediocrity? They may revel in their midnight yells and choreographed rituals, but we have something far greater—brains, brawn, and an unshakable belief in our destiny. For where they waver, we rise. Where they falter, we soar. Where they cling to delusions, we forge an unrelenting future.

We shall not be intimidated by their maroon-clad posturing. We shall not yield to their agricultural arithmetic or their boasts of bygone days. Instead, we shall meet them on the gridiron with the ferocity of Bevo himself. We shall drive them back, yard by yard, goal by goal, until their spirit is shattered and their resolve is broken.

We shall fight in the trenches, we shall fight through the air, we shall fight with precision and purpose, and we shall emerge victorious. We shall leave Kyle Field knowing that the might of the Longhorns is unparalleled, our spirit unyielding, our triumph inevitable.

Let them come with their fake army and their chants, their pride and their pretenses. For every aggy who steps forward, a Longhorn shall rise to meet them. We shall drown out their whoops with the resounding roar of “Texas Fight!” and silence their voices with the thunder of our victory.

So let aggy hear this, loud and clear: we are Texas. We are the champions of this great state, the standard-bearers of excellence, the embodiment of triumph. And when the final whistle blows, it shall not be they who celebrate beneath the Texas sky. It shall be us—the Longhorns—standing tall, our heads held high, and our horns raised in glorious victory.

Now, onward to the battle, my friends, and let history record that on this coming day, Texas stood mighty, Texas stood proud, and Texas went in dry on aggregate.

Lulz

They seriously think playing Mo Bamba on 3rd downs is going to scare the Texas team because we —Texas— have never seen anything like that before.

Then when Texas folks point out who Mo Bamba is, their fans “retort” with “yeah, but its our fans doing it and your team won’t be able to hear themselves think”

Christ, you can’t make this shit up.

Yell practice is at 5:30 PM on Friday but they are bringing out the extra wrinkle of Tickle Me Elko and the boys being there for yell practice! #whoop

What time does the aggy players carpool leave to the Texas Southern campus for their pre-game night out with the wimmens?

I don’t understand their use of the Mo Bamba song. I have an Aggie friend that says it’s not about his time at Texas so they can play it without feeling like it’s about “Texas”. This is coming from fan base that turns every longhorn gear upside down at any store. I just think it would be weird if our stadium was rocking to a song about Johnny even it doesn’t explicitly mention A&M.

Collies are great dogs. Not so much as a mascot, but they're pretty damn great as companions. Smart as hell, too. Like, even smarter than CTJ.

Smooth collies shed a relatively less amount of hair than the rough collies (with long hair like Lassie and that aggy collie) do with the same high intelligence that I think are among the brightest dogs the with border collies, poodles, German shepherds, golden/Labrador Retrievers, etc., from my experience with them.

This also true, sadly. I love me some Collies mom has one), Blue Heelers, Shetlands (mom has one), Australian cattle dogs, Swedish Valhunds, Australian Sheppards (mom has one), Border Collies  All are great companions. My mom got them strictly because they're great with kids (my neices and nephews) and with other dogs (mine). They're fucking awesome. They'll watch TV with you, don't bark, just want cuddles, and they greet literally everyone who comes go the house, burgalers included!

so class doesn't get cancelled?

The line is so low because Ewers has a sprained ankle and was already a statue back there pre-injury

I have a feeling aggy gonna be leading before Sark pulls the trigger to insert Manning after halftime

I have a feeling you’ve been feeling your vagina

Thank GIF

A lot of pearl clutching for playing a team defense that gave up 40+ to Auburn and is relying on a freshman qb who is a poor man’s Jackson Arnold.

Those gomer pyle assholes love running their damn mouths- it’s the only thing they win at. Saturday they remember why they ran away from playing us every season

Be that is it may, there is absolutely nothing that hypes up lilly white frat boys from the exurbs of DFW and Houston quite the same way.

It's like 2007 all over again...

Hey now that was high school for me. It was huge summer of 2007. It became the hot new fad and early on into the school year that fall it got old real fast. Especially because of all the other crank dat songs they had: SpiderMan, Batman, Aquaman, SpongeBob, etc..

This is also one of the most embarrassing things our team has done. The 07 team dancing to Soulja Boy while losing to UCF….

I'm guessing tonight during MNF, a whole lot of aggy TVs were broken by flying projectiles when they replayed Tuck's gwfg in CS.

Also, iirc I 'member one of y'all saying that after this year this game is going back to T+1. Is that right, or did I dream it?

But, we didn't lose.

Maybe we were trailing at that moment, but we weren't losing.

Feel like this is a game where Bolden could have a couple big returns.

aggys punter has a leg but he also tends to out kick the coverage.

He almost certainly will. The question is "big for which team?"

Thus is the essence of the Silas Bolden ExperienceTM

Mom has a smooth Collie, but all of hers are highly intelligent. We had a German Sheppard, Husky, and Golden Retriever when we were growing up. Our Husky would constantly jump the fence. My dad put in an electric fence and that  motherfucker STILL managed to get out.

He never went too far, I just think he was fucking with us. They're great at bedtime, too. If you don't mind your dogs sleeping in the same bed as you, they find their place and that's it. Nowhere else on the bed until the day they pass. Ours all laid together.

Well it’s been a long time, for those of us going to the game. Any suggestions on the best place to park for the easiest exit from campus back to Austin?

Don’t worry….those nice aggys will be happy to show you where to park, and may even valet your car for you, then escort you to your seat…we are out of town visitors, right?

"Manning is garbage"

Brought to you by the quarterback scouts who also said:

"Connor Weigman is gonna win a Heisman"

"Haynes King is gonna win a Heisman"

"I'd rather have Reggie McNeal than Vince Young"

"Mark Farris is so good he needs a nickname"

Etc...

Those words cannot go together. Goldies are awesome dogs, but they’re all somewhere on the spectrum.

This year is Banfire. It will remain in its perpetual state of non-realization as a symbol of A&M athletics in general and football in particular.

They should pay someone to build a large structure with fake logs that runs on natural gas. Then they wouldn’t have to worry about burn bans. Or the whole thing falling over and killing a bunch of drunk kids again.

I have a Goldendoodle and a Golden Retriever.  The GD is damn smart; should've named the GR Special K.  Both are really great companions but, yeah, the GR is...not smart.
